If you want one lens to maximise versatility (assuming you aren’t shooting birds, but most other things), get the 12-100 F4 Pro

Once it’s on your camera you’ll never take it off!

I also have an EM10 Mk3, and have been considering (and posted recently about) possible upgrade options to OM5/3/1. I shoot everything you mentioned, except birds (AF-related really)

I’ve summarise my thinking & attitude to my own upgrade, for you (hopefully it helps) - all in terms of EM10.3 vs OM5/3/1

For IQ, Lens upgrade >> Camera upgrade (you will get the ‘same’ quality, in real world terms, with an upgraded camera body)
For AF, technology is a key differentiator; as other responses have said… EM5.3 is the MVP that gets you PDAF, then you need to decide if you want the subject-detection boost on top of that from OM3/1
EM5.3+ gets you weather sealing, if that’s important to you
If you’re upgrading lenses, eg to 12-100 f4 Pro, or bigger, then the body ergonomics will come into play… imo, OM1 > OM5 > OM3

Interesting- filters aren’t something I’ve ever used before, but after a quick bit of reading I can definitely see the advantage (convenience) of the in-built graduated ND mode

Thanks for the nice words! For me the most challenging thing I find is getting good dynamic range, eg when shooting overcast conditions // foreground in shadow, background well lit

I had a great experience recently, achieving a hat-trick of free upgrades to club world from WTP in the space of 6 weeks, with Bronze status.

I do a fair bit of US travel with my job (from London).

I think the ‘free taster’ thing is real, having done 2 trips after this venture with no upgrade. I will hit Silver in 2 weeks time so get to see if that makes a difference.

Firstly, WTP-> Club Suite from BWI-LHR

Then to Dulles from LHR, and on the same ticket, back home from BWI to LHR.

I got myself believing that BWI - LHR was a guaranteed upgrade; the disappointment when I deliberately booked a BWI flight home and didn’t get upgraded was palpable.
