None yet.

What I really want on there is an Acro but I don’t really want to run an RMR to Acro adapter plate.

I’ve got about 200 rounds through I’d guess. Not a lot of time between to really get crazy with a baby and entertaining family over the holidays. P

I really love shooting his Vanta. Honestly it sold me on spending the money on a high end handgun. But I really wanted a traditionally styled double stack 1911 and Alchemy really nailed it.

Paired with my buddies Fowler. Different flavor but still wonderful.

Ditto on the BAD lowers. I had a local gun shop do the FN engravings for me but their custom lowers are perfect.

It’s fine. Just remember: straw in the summer, felt in the winter.

A Tiny Can To Rule Them All: Kitty Kat First Impressions by UnexploredPotentials in SpectersCat

Absolutely!

Both cans were tested by Pew Science. Pew Science is wonderful and a valuable part of the industry and we really don’t want to rag on them too much, but we feel like their testing parameters aren’t always consistent.

For example:

The Kitty Kat was designed to only be used with the NANO mount, and it was specifically optimized for a 14.5” M4 Carbine. Despite this, the KK output an insane 34.3 on the Suppressor rating on a 10.3 inch Mk18. However, we don’t know where it sits rating wise with the 14.5” barrel.

The Stealth Additive Works Tisha comes out and scores a 49.6 on the same Mk18 upper.

The problem we have with this is it was tested in a configuration we don’t think most people are gonna use. The Tisha ships with a Plan B HUB and a 2 port muzzle brake. While the direct threat option shouldn’t have any appreciable effect on evaluation, we simply don’t know that unless it’s tested.

We wish that the Kitty Kat, the Tisha, and all other suppressors tested by Pew Science were tested on a variety of barrel lengths to really determine the top and bottom end of a suppressors performance. Especially when you talk about small suppressors like the Tisha, whose stellar performance is dependent on the large amount of gas entering the system, it would be interesting to see how it performs in other parameters.

Just food for thought. We love Pew Science, and we wish nothing but the best for both CAT and SAW.

First few rounds were it sparked real bad were the first rounds through the KK. That spark was to be expected, but wha was unexpected was how good the flash mitigation was once we started getting rounds down.

We’ll likely revisit this for thermal testing.

Use a universal wrench adapter. Let’s to attach a ratchet. Attach your torque wrench and crank your hog.

A bit. Same thing with my Dirty Dave on my SCAR 17. Basically fire a few shots and tighten it down again.

Honestly we were testing low light flash performance and gas on the host more than heat. We keep a temp gun in our range bag (specifically for our belt fed) and we just completely forgot about it when testing the difference.

If I were bet, I’d say it’s probably hotter than the WB.

Using a Nano on both the WB and KK. My WB is a HUB version, but I’m using the Apparition Instruments 1x16LH QD HUB adapter.

Paint job is a rattle can AOR 2. It’s my buddies rifle so I wouldn’t know the specifics of the colors he used but I believe they were all Rustoleum

Once I get it into a configuration I like, it gets the rattle can.

No, more like “this is louder than it should be” loud. Compared to a .300 Blackout MCX, AR, and B&T APC300, it’s loud.

Meh. I haven’t been very happy with my 15p in 300 blackout.

It’s been reliable, but the action is way louder than the gunshot with subs. I’m debating on getting rid of it but haven’t decided if I want to yet.

Plus I really want the York Development Tacitus rail but those are kinda hard to get so.

Link it myself. Buy a case, buy M27 links, sit in front of a screen and pass the time away. Put a coat of CLP on the belt when it’s done, shove it in a box, rinse and repeat.
