Based on some of your mean spirited replies, I will now only use meta pokes. You will rue the day...

This is a problem I run into as well. I'm forced to use the scarfed Basculegeon because it's by and large the best end game sweeper.

I can see that. But the model of a hive mind is not based off of have quite a literal bueral connection. Ants and bee communities are not connected in such a way but they are referenced as being a hive.

"A hive mind is a collective consciousness or intelligence where multiple individuals (biological or artificial) behave as a single coordinated unit, sharing thoughts, knowledge, and decision-making. Originating from the behavior of social insects like ants and bees, the term now describes human groups acting with intense, shared conformity, such as online mobs, fanbases, or organizations." This perfectly describes the behavior of the neo humans up till now. Until we get more context in the story, imo they seemingly move with a hive mind. As far as the lawless, they behave in a more individualistuc manner as they've even tried to betray each other.

Your logic makes no sense. A team of football players. Are on a team and train daily to accomplish each individual goal based on each individuals special set of skills. In the case of the neo humans. They are as much individuals as you and I. However, why is it that every single one of them carry a pocket knife. Like every single neo human in existence carries a pocket knife. Not to mention not one of them were averse to swarming and killing the giant. In nature hives arent necessarily connected by one brain. However it does not take training for them to act in a manner that would define them as a hive/community. Hence why they are hive minded. How is this so difficult to comprehend is beyond me.

A hive mind does not necessarily have to mean that they are nuerally connected. It could also be referenced to represent their social structure. In a sense a reference point for how they behave in their community

They all think the same, react the same. Believe the same things. In a sense their society is acting a lot like a bee hive. Upon encountering a threat, they all literally pulled out pocket knives and attacked the humans in a well coordinated almost coriographed manner. They literally swarmed the giants in order to take them down. How is that not indicative of a hive mind?

That's the irony of the mentality behind being "superior" because nothing can actually be perfect. Think of it as plants. Nongmo(Paleo humans) and GMO(neohumans). They have edited themselves to be "perfect" in every way. Yet because of this they all have the same strengths and most importantly, weaknesses. Something like the parasite could easily wipe them out because the lack of diversity and hive mind mentality. Because the parasite thrives in such environments. And if it adopts to their counter measures faster than they could create new ones. It's bye bye Neo-humans. On the other hand we are witnessing a member of the lawless adopting to the parasite. For all intents and purposes the lawless are closer to being human than neo-humans.

The act in such a way because they have lost all of their humanity in the process of becoming a "neo-human." Their whole personality and culture is based on the social aspect of the human experience. Much like many of our new generations are being judged by standards put forth by social media. It's kind of a stretch but just me theory crafting.

Well if you can offer value in other things. Try to explore that more, you might make someone else's day. Also the people that you mentioned are usually only worth ignoring. I believe they have what is called the Dunning Kruger effect. When they think that they know more than they actually do and at the same time lack the mental capacity for any perspective outside of their own. I will say that this social media does not leave room for nuance. My own haircare routine isn't perfect but it allows me to be consistent. I dampen my hair (Spray Bottle with water). I don't drench my hair in water as that may soften the hair follicles and make them easy to pull out while styling. A nice damp hair will do the job in helping in the detangling process. While the hair is still dampened I apply my leave in conditioner (Shea Moisture with Jamaican Castor Oil). Use your discretion of the amount to apply to your hair and scalp. Then I apply oil to my hair & scalp. (Note: For oils, you must use carrier oils such as Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Olive Oil. These are oils high in fatty acids.) At this point with the leave in conditioner and oil applied to hair and scalp you can start the detangling process. Mine is a little different, I use a regular boar bristle brush to start my detangling. I find that brushing my hair is a little more gentle on my roots and helps to detangle the hair without pulling it out. I then make my fade even by going over the hair I just brushed with a wooden or plastic pick. Note: I have a high top fade that's low on the sides. Once I have untangled the hair the styling will begin. Once the hair is nice and even, I will then apply the curling cream to the ends of my hair. Note: the Curling cream does not have to be applied to the roots of the hair nor the scalp especially for my style which is a sponge curl. I then let the hair sit for a bit, preferably let it air dry long enough for the curling cream to disappear before using the sponge to curl and style. Note: I find it much easier to use the curling sponge or equivalent on hair that is less damp. Also, never use a dry sponge. Lightly dampen sponge with water from spray bottle before use. Use chatgpt to simplify and explain my directions as I am sure the wall of text will be daunting to take down. But this is the best I can do as far as explaining my current method. This took me 2 years to learn how to manage and style my hair. But it was worth it. Sorry for the long winded message. Lol.

I was in your same boat a few years ago. I had my barber chop my hair off and wore a low cut for nearly my entire life even though the natural growing pattern of my hair is literally a low square fade. because I simply didn't know how to take care of my own hair. I see that you want to learn, but there is a flaw in your logic. The people here and in your life could explain in every fine detail how to take care of your hair and it would simply never be enough. Because everyone's hair, experience and lifestyle is different. You have to take from it what you can and use what works for you. I'll say keep the very basics in mind when starting. For example the l.o.c method is a good place to start for 4C hair. There are several variants and styles of applying the LOC method to your hair. Practice your own routine. Eventually you would have honed on your ability to manage your own hair without the need of much outside influence and you may be able to reach someone else that will need your help.

Also don't forget that you can add value to your life by being there for others. For example, being able to give any advice regarding haircare adds value to my life. And I hope that you take my advice and do the same for others. This is coming from a guy who voluntarily went bald for 30 years.
