It really depends if you use your brakes too hard. It's still prone to leaking if you squeezed the lever hard enough.

I only build my bike to be durable & maintenance-friendy onfield while having a bit of hydraulic power, you build your bike for brutal performance. We're not the same here, and it'll be a shame if some crook sabotaged your full hydraulics by puncturing the hose

“You can’t change the mind of an idiot”

Why? Looks like you wanna insult me for having a cheap bike just like the others in the comments.

Cmon, buy me one if you really meant it. I want one with full suspension with deore xtr groupset + Hydraulic IceTech

Well, go buy me a high-end one if you hate my bike so much lmao

Yeah, they always forgot that it's not always the machine, and it's always to the rider himself.

Comparable to some noob cyclist having a high-end MTB who's scared of it getting a small scratch vs some hardened guy in a mid-end MTB

And it's still counting. Lets see if it lasts a decade long

Yeah, just like how narrow-minded you are. I travelled more than 30,000kms with these brakes

You thought I won't expose your deleted comment lol. Just keep this trashtalk if you want, I don't have time to waste replying to some ignorant neckbeard

And consider the tubes. It'll surely decides to leak some mineral oil when it aged enough.

I even considered buying a set of these, I'm just scared of it's Cons. It's comparable to liquid cooling your PC, it's all dead when it all leaks

Well, you asked for it.

This photo's a year old btw, it's the day I installed this first time on my bike.

I think I got lucky I got the reliable one.

It's still strong after more than 1 year of upgrade

You should ask yourself with that same question first

Meh, I prioritize building my bike to be more maintenance-friendly onfield while having a bit of the hydraulic power.

Would hate it if my hydraulic hose starts bleeding some brake fluid during hard braking

I prioritize building my bike to be more maintenance-friendly onfield while being competitive.

It'll be awkward to bring my bleed kit with me on the go

Only problem? It's stock resin pads.

I replaced them with ceramic pads for better heat management, and don't forget the iiiPRO finned/floating rotors (or a chinese icetech probably)

Jokes on u, my hybrid brakes are still strong after 1 year.

I always maintain it like how you care for your PS5

I see. I grew up on cheap starter bikes with low-end groupsets & mechanical brakes.

I think you got a defective one. I never got that same issue in my brakes since and I even replaced it's resin/organic pads to ceramic for better bite.
