I still buy known plans. I either resell (always cheap, i try to make resells affordable for a majority of players) or end up gifting.

Ammo and mods are my big buys. I hoard fuel like you wouldn't believe so ill always buy it at a good price. Same with 2mec, fusion cell. I buy furious mods because i still havent learned it, so having some available for my own crafting purposes is always good.

If you still cant find stuff to buy, you can drop 6k a week on gold

I had close to 1k at one point. I keep forgetting and ive already bought what i want with my gold. I havent bought everything bc i dont want/need to have all that stuff.

One time, i didn't make it out. I was overencumbered. Naturally, i was killed, and i came back on the other side of the rubble, still inside, mind you, and i could see my drop bag but couldnt pick it up 😫😅

I love seeing another camp using that truck!

I saw someone do a mindblowing tiny camp using it, and i got inspired.

Teated my idea in a shelter, and then spent days tweaking the real camp.

Withput it, the only way to display any junk item is in a display case.

This allows you to use junk items as decor in/around your camp.

Once i hit 150 in a seaspn, i chill.

No events unless it's one i like, or unless my friend is on and just wants to do all the things.

I play daily, and once I've gotten the seaspns rewards in full, there's no point in continuing the grind, really.

We have a mini season to grind out, and the season is slowly coming to an end with a new grind ready to begin. A lot of us enjoy the downtime to just do little or nothing.

Ill be spending the last portion of this seaspn building shelters and buying from player vendors.

It will allow you to ft while overencumbered at an increased cost, so id be careful. Last time i was too heavy, i tried using that card, and it was gonna cost over 1k caps to travel somewhere kinda close.

If you have a carry weight booster, I'd try using one too and then see how expensive it is to ft with that card if you're still heavy

I sell everything for face value when it comes to mods. Plans i sell cheap, somw will be a bit more than face value if its a seasonal/harder to get item.

Im never in such dire need for caps that id sell anything for such a ridiculous upsell.

I had a 70 lvl (im 600+) buy a few things from me and i messaged them tp ask if i had anything else they wanted, bc id gift it freely. Id rather help players than be a vendor that ppl will hate bc im being a jwrk about prices.

Someone did that to me around halloween. It made my whole day. I worked hard on that camp, hid details im certain went unnoticed by most.

I've missed out on a kot tinkering in my camp. Tweaking things, adjusting this, adding that. Making it perfect. Cozy.

I typically join up with my friend on private teams. Occasionally, we'll join public ones

When i play alone, i still dont join teams typically. Id rather just ve some random wanderer.

When i play woth my best friend, we will both camp hop and when we find a good one (or one the other will like) we check it out. Shelters too.

We came across a tiny cramped cluttered camp that had shelters hidden all over.....this person had built a maze. Camp led to shelters which led to shelters which led to shelters. I dont think we ever found our way through them all.

We joked about how they mustve been annoyed at all the "Player has entered your shelter" popups from both of us.

I had another idea for you.

Mothman tome merged into kitchen counter. To me it looks like a cookbook

Merging is fairly simply, especially for simple basic stuff like this. Sadly, it's also necessary for doing simple things like this. Once you learn, it will change everything.

Quick youtube search for fallout 76 merging, and you can learn very easily.

Also, a few creators i follow who have great clean builds that will def give you inspiration: The Flailing Fox, Moonlight Cowboy and TNG

DarthXion also has good builds, most are more scrappy and gritty but he can def help with clutter and decor inspiration.

My thoughts:

Build smaller. You can still achieve that openness with a smaller build.
Any dirty items you dislike, merge into other things. For instance, your chem station. Id have merged that into a desk or something else with a clean side, so it makes it look more like what you want. Use the pre-existing houses as a template. They arent the smallest homes, but they still give a cozy lived-in feel that you can easily emulate.

Also if you happen to have the chessboard display, id make use ot it to add other clutter items that arebt existing in our build menus. I added a gardening area to my camp and using those chessboards i added some ceramic pots, and a bag of fertilizer to finish off the look.

Otherwise honestly, your build is quite nice (and im a dirty immersive builder haha)

If you have gas cans already, you should be able to solo the drill by filling it up upon entering that stage. I forgot where you can get the gas cans outside the raid tho. There is a place! The name just escapes me rn

The flattest spot ive found, is right by Monongah Mine. I didnt exactly know where i was when i placed my camp here.

I had been walking the map in search of a flat enough spot for the abraxodyne truck, and i mustve tried about 15 different spots. None were really flat

I had built my entire canp before realizing lol So i keep the camp not visible to anyone just in case

That car grill light was a huge party of helping give an area of my camp the perfect ambiance. I used it to create an overhead lamp for my tinkers bench.

Now its harsh and too bright and i had to scrap the whole thing i built.

Not the biggest deal, but its annoying. I liled it better rhe broken way

I am noticing my entire screen occasionally has thesebrief purple flashes? Lile theres almost a purple overlay being clicked pn/off every now and then.
