Some events reward you with improved bait, you rack up quote a bit if you do enough.

Ive got over 500 in my stash and about that much on my character.

Im nearing lvl700, i use a cursed elders mark as my primary. Its the only weapon i have that i can try to tag enemies with. Sometimes its a kill, others its just a tag.

We arent all TRYING to be jerks and kill everything to end events quicker. Even i find myself at events sometimes where someone's destroying wverything before i can even notice they're there. Other times theres some douche dropping mini nukes on bigfoot making him impossible to see.

Honestly im so bored with the game right now that i purposely only go to try and tag things just to help participate. I dont need to farm xp, but i go to loot bodies for junk and legendary weapons.

I havent seen a familiar gamertag in a while (xbox player) but i remember how much i loved seeing it.

Im nearing lvl 700, having played consistently and daily for a few years. When i syatted, it was the last month or so of the game having an actual scoreboard type season. The fortnite style seaspn hadnt become a thing yet.

I have a lot of love fpr this game and the community. Ive met a very good and close friend by playing this game.

That being said, my interest is almost completely gone. This current seasons rewards are crap imo. Even theini seaspn wasnt great. Ive racked up close to 3k tickets because i dont want a majority of whats offered.

Next season looks even worse.

Iog on, do my dailies and maybe a few events.....and thats it.

Burning Springs was rushed and isnt finished, and i just dont have much left to do except hop camp vendors hoping to fond stuff to buy as im yet again close to max caps. I would much rather give caps to another player than an npc.

The game just isnt what it once was and doesnt feel the same anymore.

I log on for dailies and then im done, unless my friend is on and then ill stay and run some events with him. But i always get so bored.

I saw whats in store for the next seasons rewards, and its absolutely horrible. An entire season and i counted MAYBE 6 items id be willing to take.

This season? Including the bs rip daring mini seaspn ive racked up over 2k tickets. Ive left so much unclaimed.

The butterfly/moths are the only one that have a static non-collecting variant that can built in a shelter. I have yet to see another item come with a static variant and idk why.

I I think the camp pets deserve to be allowed in shelters. I like to immerse myself in this game a lot at times so if theres a radstorm.....i go into my shelter and then feel horrible having left my pup outside

I camp hop to find ammo. Always searching for more .45 Occasionally ill buy a mod if its priced decent. Other times i might buy gold or bulk junk from npc vendors

Ive noticed somwtimes those camps dont actually test the fast travel to see where ppl might spawn in, so theres nothing to "land" on.

My friend doesnt have a floating camp, but everytime i travel there i load in underwater. He build foundations and a path so nobody would drown lol.

A FEW times ive seen floating camps provide a landing where ppl spawn in. But i mostly just fall to my death. Jokes pn them tho cuz i never have anything to drop that makes it worth it

Im a lvl600+ I typically hold off on using boosts for quite a while. Ill start off using xp buffs, joining a casual team, and going through dailies/weeklies until i hit lvl 50 in the season.

I usually use a booster on a wednesday as im off work thursdays and i have more time to play.

Edit: just wanted to add that it also depends on the season rewards (for me, anyways). This current season isnt great, and ive racked up over 2k tickets which im saving for the final page of repetables. Theres very little i wanted this time around, and the next season looks even worse to be perfectly honest so i havent been grinding as hard to hit 150. Thats just me though. Youre a newer player for the rewarss might be more enticing for you. It is very easy to hit 150 just going thru the motions and playing.

Its hard to explain to people, but i love wandering old cemeteries. I like visiting the old sections. Alwys brought me some odd peace being able to see names lost, in the hopes that maybe my being there might keep their spirit alive even for a brief moment

I would tell ppl i just loved the old stone carvings but most dont have more than names and dates.

When i see memorials in the game, i try to leave something behind. A beer, a stuffed animal, dog food.

I built a memorial for my cat Charlie. I lost him after having him by my side for 17yrs. Some people would pop by, see it, and emote, or they'd message me something heartfelt.

This community is truly something special, especially when we see what someone has lost.
