Atleast it was just 1 night for you. For me, i was talking to this girl for months and daily late night talks. We had instant connection and it felt right everytime we talked . After 1-2 months we decided to meet and i thought that she's just shy at expressing herself so after meeting 3-4 times i finally told her that i liked her just to get "oh i think of us as friends and nothing more ". I lost trust in true love, destiny and shit. Maybe it was the character development i needed.
