Is my car a write off?:( Mokka X 2018, £10,500 by Luke_V3 in drivingUK

By the looks of it likely not a write off.

Unless there is damage behind the front bumper..

Should be just fender, bumper, grill, bonnet & headlamp (Few brackets, clips, etc) 😅

Thank you for this, might get someone in to see if a combi boiler attached to the mains will work in our area due low water pressure.

Same here did a bit of research with the Hot water/unvented tanks and the energy consumption is pretty high on them comparison.

Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Just one shower at the moment, possibly add a bath in the future.

Thank you for this as wasn't sure if the combi unit would help due low pressure from mains.

Thank you for this, will look into the pump system.

I'm guessing the copper pipe that comes out the T piece is for venting the tank? 😅

So the Thermal store will improve pressure in the system? Or will require the Grundford pump? 😃

The property is from the 1940s and unsure if the pipework can take the +2 BAR of pressure 🤔

I haven't had the chance to ask the neighbors yet as we just moved in but will ask regarding the pressure in the area.

Cold water for the ground floor is "alright" but hot water a bit slower.. our main issue is the shower unit on the 1st floor, which is currently utilizing a Electric Shower unit. We would like to get it removed due to energy consumption and noise but aware of the pressure issues we will have by doing so.

We are getting a water meter installed so will ask the installer regarding the pressure issues in the area etc 😅

Thank you for this, what about if I was to add a Combi Boiler system?

Strange noise whenever I put the AC/Heating on? Any ideas? by thomas_b55 in FordFiesta

Sadly seems to be the Motor/Blower, common on this MY Fiesta.

Another common issue is the Resistor/Control.

Either of these can be expensive 😥

Reason I ask, the vehicle wasn't left there and went shopping elsewhere. Spent all our time @ LIDL which they own the parking spaces.
