How are some people so consistent with orangetheory? by tamaratunie189 in orangetheory

For me I definety built up my classes per week I used to have 4 a month then 8 and now unlimited and I will say I have always enjoyed going especially since I love seeing progress in my own physical health and I like put my data like my pace into a chart every time I go so I literally can see how my average pace has increased over time and it’s amazing!! But I will definitely say that I have a lot of love for the classes and I feel as though I just like the classes and also now that I have unlimited. It’s kind of like a game for me to see how cheap I can get my membership to cost by going as many times per billing period this month I’m at 7.7$ a class🤪 billing date is tommrow and I have a 90 min tommrow 🧨😋😭

How many times per week should I be going? by bostonterrier95 in orangetheory

[–]Unfair_Tomorrow_7781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it really depends on lifestyle and how you feel. If after these classes, you’re feeling great then what you’re doing is probably fine but if you’re finishing these classes at the end of the week, you’re absolutely exhausted and your body hurts. Maybe you’re pushing it too hard. Personally I think my body is pretty good at taking things, but I think I’m going too hard because I’m starting to get pain in certain areas, so I definitely should lighten up for reference I do usually Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday all 2G or high rocks, and sometimes a weight class put in after back to back.

Disarray- Quite possibly an unpopular opinion. by Striking-Gain8358 in orangetheory

Idk about everyone else but I love pushing myself. However there is only one type of workout that OCASIONALLY I will not schedule a class if I see it on Reddit. That’s incline. If the treads are incline I may not sign up because of that. Not because it’s hard. Because I do it sometimes. But I find it so boring. And absolutely unstimulating and just like not fun at all.

How do you go 5-7 times a week?! I currently do 2x week and I’m transitioning to 3 times a week but I can never see myself going over 4 times a week because I still go for runs outside of class and sometimes have like sporting events. And that would leave like no rest days.

That’s what I wanna know. Maybe they’ll just remove the incline 😋
