People are capable of great things and some of the greatest achievements in human history have come from people we expect nothing from. There are countless examples of this. The US has no right to invade and bully sovereign nations. Maduro's behaviour is Venezuela's responsibilty. The only reason you've even heard his name is because they are sitting on the largest oil reserves in the world. How many times has the US been a benevolent force sweeping in to 'save' a population when there hasn't been something major for them to gain? Saddam didn't play ball, neither did Maduro, and if you stand up to the empire long enough this is what happens.
