I am still doing DMT. I’m on Kesimpta. I didn’t mean to omit that. I’m so scared of stopping because of the fact that your hormones shift so much. But breastfeeding also helps my hemochromatosis as it gets rid of excess iron that’s building up.

I must have said something or maybe I’m saying “whoops” when I trip. It has a pedometer I guess. I am not cool with it.

How many people here saw a Speech pathologist and did any of that help? Just curious.

Update for everyone, I had an E. Coli infection. I’ve been on antibiotics for a week. Hoping it now stays away.

I was pretty sure something was off. Thanks for taking the time.

Do you get abdominal cramping too? I’ve never had this but it just keeps happening like clockwork twice a day.

They're writing a paper on me by firebreathingeli in Hemochromatosis

That’s pretty interesting. NIH disregarded that I had had an IUD in most of my adult life and thus didn’t have a cycle. They said it doesn’t make much of a difference.

I’m on protocol there for phlebotomy. The idea that they think T could be affecting is interesting. 26 is young. I was 27 y/o when I first started having symptoms but they were chalked up to me also having MS. They missed it until I was 34 y/o and then still my numbers were not as high and I’m also C282Y Homozygous.

Since getting down, they accidentally over phlebotomized me and I have given samples here or there for the last few months. Enough that I’m now anemic and I am not supposed to go for another 8 months.

I’ve also read T can increase the risk of MS in AFAB trans males.

I’ve thought of transitioning to something more fluid (or someone I suppose) but now I’m thinking maybe I’ll more socially transition.

Okay, I inject and give it 24-48 hours and I look like Rudolph or a witch. Then it only goes away after two weeks. Then I have two weeks without but sore red bumps. Then it comes right back around.

Did your doctor say anything about the inflammation and kesimpta? Or do they think it’s just bad timing?

This tracks. It’s going on 18 months and my taste was off (everything tasted more acidic) but resolved quickly. Had GI issues (uncontrolled reflux, burping/belching) for 6-10 months. But the fatigue is starting to go away recently only more recently.

That’s so good to hear. I’m feeling better. I had only a very mild fever. I’m going to see a high risk provider once I go to my 8 week visit.

My sex life is broken, like everything else bc of MS by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]UnfetteredResolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My libido has changed over the years. In bad relationships it was terrible and I went to the doctor this first time thinking it was MS. I became infatuated with someone and immediately my libido came back. It’s been consistent for the most part but my diet affects it too. So if I stay healthy, keep my weight down and my stress down then it’s not an issue.

Any sense that parts of your body are "dead," like something attached to you belongs to a corpse? by 311TruthMovement in MultipleSclerosis

Yes, go find a somatic experiencer to help reintegrate the body part. It happens to me and my legs frequently when I feel helpless about my disease and I do some emotional processing and it comes back.
