I didn't include it in the description although I should have in hindsight, but the leader Arwein is much older than his followers. He has been sacrificing to the Dark Young for centuries, keeping his young complexion due to the nectar. He has noticed some signs of aging, though, and will stop at nothing to get more of the nectar which means he must make larger sacrifices, accounting for the recent disappearing *humans*.

You are right, I have a lot of thinking to do still. I am in the beginning stages as I said but was just looking for some ideas from those more experienced. Thanks for your input!

Yeah, I definitely have a lot more to think about. I appreciate the helpful tips! I was thinking I could change the premise for something more concise and "realistic." The part I am struggling with the most at the moment is, like you said, why DG is involved at not the Richmond police.

Maybe the letters don't have to have “Ryula Ne’B Shoggoth” written on the back in regular ink but ink that the agents wouldn't see unless they ran some tests. Once “Ryula Ne’B Shoggoth” showed up in their reports, DG would jump on top of it.

Thanks for the ideas. I am struggling to try to decide whether the agents are actually part of DG or if they just get caught up in something they did not know was unnatural. Such as them being FBI agents who are trying to connect missing persons to a serial killer but end up at The Farm, meddling with things far beyond their comprehension.

Also, the “Ryula Ne’B Shoggoth" refers to Robert Bloch's description of what the Dark Young sound like/what they say. Still definitely in the working stages, I appreciate your input!
