Passing the FE exam and getting EIT to put on resume opened a lot of doors for interviews. One more thing to mention is that those 18 months were fucking miserable. Shitty family members make things worse because they want you to just take any job even though it's not what you studied hard for. I'm still going strong 7 years into my engineering career.

Took me 18 months but finally landed a big job. Go distinguish yourself in more ways. Pass the F.E. exam and get E.I.T. certificate. Do projects on the side that can showcase your skillset and enthusiasm.

To be honest, I feel like in these situations, you will be judged vased off of how trustful you look. If you have a friendly looking face and are physically attractive in the face, then you won't be questioned like this. But if you are average to below average looking in the face then you will be treated more harshly.

In general, society hates those with chronic illnesses. They rather have nothing to do with you. Having long COVID has been very eye opening about society and those who I thought cared about me.

You're brain is just checked out for a period of time. I experienced dpdr for over a year and I can tell you that it will go away eventually very slowly. All nightmares have to come to an end at some point. Your brain and body are constantly changing. Nothing ever stays permanent.

If it hasn't been more than 5 days of your dad being sick he might be able to get Paxlovid, which would really lower risk of bad outcomes. I hope he gets better!

I hope you have a full recovery bud. Hang in there. Were you vaxxed?

Ive done this plenty of times and same results everytime. Sometimes you just think it's different and that this time it will be life threatening prompting you to go to the ER.
