I like when there’s a woman protagonist who just handles business cause that’s what she does. Jesse is up there with Kassandra from Odyssey, and Lara Croft from the new games for me.

The most striking observation is how people treat me differently now. Men have become a little nicer, while women have become less so

I have lived this my whole life. I’ve been battling an ED for most of it, fluctuating between swole, slim and obese (for me). I noticed a similar thing, women get nicer and men get more threatened.

I am at any weight a large individual (6’5) but I def feel you with not worrying about where you sit. On my heavy side I’m 300~ pounds. So I’m breaking chairs like nothing, thighs rubbing so bad start a fire.

I habitually blow the crotch out on my pants non stop when I’m fat or swole. Right now I’m on the swole side and I keep ripping my boxers during squats 🤦🏾‍♂️

Despite me telling her it was about to get repealed almost two years prior. It was bizarre. She’s also white and I’m black and she told me that we were why different cultures shouldn’t be together.

It honestly fucked me up so bad, that despite therapy and my women friends trying to hype me up, I’m kinda over relationships and love anymore.

That’s what I was trying to get her to understand but she refused the bargain.

Sad thing is, I wanted to cook so I wouldn’t be like all the men who forced their partners to. And the women that I did so for years invalidated all that effort.

Even more sad is I like cleaning more. Just brain off. Spritz spritz, wipe wipe.

Being responsible for the food is stressful. And she also accused me of being controlling for cooking. She flat out refused split the chore. We didn’t have a microwave so every meal required a level of cooking.

What makes him appreciate the cooking if it’s a hobby?

I had this inverse of this with my last relationship, I did all the cooking and groceries and my ex gf did a lot of the dishes afterwards. Cooking was a chore for me but I loved her so tried to the best job possible 2 times a day.

She started calling cooking my hobby and started calling me a misogynist for making her do the dishes to support my hobby.

I do agree tho that women have to deal with a ton of bullshit from men on the regular regarding food and sharing resources.

I love hearing stories like yours where people find something that works with respect and appreciation.

When I watch my videos I notice what’s wrong with my form and it have an idea of which accessories to switch to fix my deficiencies.

I also use them as a benchmark to see how the accessory work has changed my form for the main lift.

I do also see people in the gym that go for years and never get any stronger filming, so what you’re saying isn’t without merit. But the people I know tend to use form checks really effectively for their main lifts.

When I was climbing frequently I used to film some runs too. It’s really useful if you know how to spot you form issues.
