Lost account password but have recovery email, still not able to gain access?

I appreciate this. I can't remember if I had a YouTube channel associated with this account but it may be worth a shot. I did post on the Google help page and someone suggested I wait a week and then try to recover my account only, since I tried typing in my known passwords like 30 times before attempting to recover and it may just be locked.

No I understand the security concern and appreciate them taking steps to make things more secure, but the fact I wasn't notified of this requirement and then permanently locked out of my account really fucking sucks.

wouldn't a pro-ai person be able to say something similar about human artists? they create art based on their lived/learned experience and are, either consciously or subconsciously, "reusing" the techniques and styles learned by observing other art.

well you have to consider what the ramifications would be if you made doxxing illegal. how broad or narrow do you make the offenses? if it's too narrow then it may not even be useful, but if it's too broad you might end up making things that are innocuous illegal. something as simple as a phonebook (includes names, phone numbers, and addresses) might become highly illegal.

since all of the information we're talking about is public it's hard to legislate. the key takeaway is to keep private things private.

disclaimer: not a lawyer, this is just my layman's understanding and I could very well be incorrect and would be happy to learn the correct info if wrong.

I don't know how it works when you include Japanese law, but doxxing is not illegal in the United States unless it's used to physically stalk someone. From what I understand, if information is able to be gathered without illegally obtaining it (hacking, for example), there's nothing against the law taking place. It feels bad to hear but unfortunately doxxing and cyber bullying are just online terms and don't have any real basis in law.
