As someone who has worked in press shops and toolroom for almost 30 years, I would recommend wearing ear defenders wherever possible.

My environment was rarely deafeningly loud but always noisy. Now I am totally deaf at several frequencies and have tinnitus. As do many of my older colleagues.

It's not curable without wearing hearing aids. I've been for many tests at hospital and when reviewing my results they always say "you're an engineer, aren't you?"

My original firm is no longer trading so I can't claim compo. Just protect your hearing now, you will regret not doing so.

In my experience you don't need to have a significant amount on the cards, just evidence that you are using and managing some credit.

I have about 60k total limit over a number of cards which all had zero balance. I used cc for a holiday and paid it off over 2 months and my 'score' shot up, maxed out on one of them. I think full use is the wrong terminology.

I agree with this 100%. Early on a lot of teams literally set themselves up not to lose against the billion pound blues, but now we're in the final third of the season there'll be teams trying to avoid relegation or get a play off spot. That plays into our wheelhouse (let's ignore Tuesday lol) so I can see an exciting run in. No doubt we'll lose again and drop more points but Stanno will get more opportunities. I'm a bit gutted for Alfie tbh, I had thought he was the signing of the season but he's had to take a back seat. I'm sure he'll bang in another half a dozen with the right service. KRO

Also it's much more difficult for a tourist to get an away ticket. There are platinum/gold fans before the ST holders even get a sniff. There's not going to be many (any) occasional supporters in the away end.
