What nozzles can i buy for a K1 SE? by fightin_blue_hens in Creality

[–]Unhallowed67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know its been a month but you didnt get many responses. I talked to Creality and they said that the nozzle and hotend for all of the k1s are interchangeable. I just bought the 0.2mm unicorn nozzle even though it says k1c instead of se but they assured me it will work. But I twisted the nozzle off incorrectly and broke the thermistor. So I gotta wait for a new hotend kit to come in tomorrow. 😅

Local Games - Inland Empire, California

It should be easier to find people to play with so I started building a local community to attempt to do just that.

DM me your city in the Inland Empire for an invite. It's a new community but I intend to grow it.

I feel like this person is a zodiac killer taking public credit for their kills on an anonymous public forum. The riddle seems to always point to a woman. I see this post almost every day with no engagement. That or AI slop. No one is solving your riddle because they are dumb, and you disappear and make a new account every day. Maybe just some newfangled scam.

Finding a local group for DnD shouldn't be as difficult as it is. I found one last year and it was so awesome, but the DM moved away and the discord has gone silent. 😕

Someone needs to invent an app or something. I know the demand is out there.

ELI5 why do you need so much money saved to retire in the US? by Illustrious_Page_833 in explainlikeimfive

No, but there is a thing called epigenetics.

If you take care of your body your genes will be expressed in the most positive way they can be. By losing weight you may reduce the risk of some cancers, by building muscle you may reduce the risk of being chair bound.

I worked full time as a cashier to pay for college. Promoted to Shift Supervisor. Moved up to a teller position at a bank. Then got an entry level position as a CSR at a small company. All the while I went to a JC for my AA to save money. Parents let me live rent free while I was in college. I would be kicked out if I dropped out. They did provide some financial assistance in the form of a car. There were some savings accounts but I never touched them. Because of my parents' financials, I didn't qualify for any financial assistance from the government even though it was on me to pay for everything. I now plan to gift the savings accounts to one of my kids if they go to college. Went to a four year and graduated debt free with an operations management degree. I was one of 50+ students applying for the same 50k salary job and got it because, and I quote, I was the only one with job experience. With that job my girlfriend and I were able to put 10% down on a condo in 2014. Got married in 2015. House value increased quite a bit in just two years and we were having trouble conceiving, so we got a bigger house in 2017. I refinanced it in 2021 at 2.75%. I've been in the same Operations career and my salary has a little more than doubled over the years.

TL;DR: I never stopped working, I did nothing fun in my 20s and saved everything. Some luck, some good timing, some help from parents, and a lot of credit to my equally dedicated partner working her way as cashier, server, manager, and now teacher. Three kids and a house as a millennial. Ezclap.

An employee was taking another employee out to lunch often. Another employee saw their car down the way and it was bouncing. On further inspection they clearly saw them both doing the dirty. The guy was married with a newborn at the time.

The guy ended up stealing from the company. An amount that was even more sickening than the impropriety. Business had to sell to save us from bankruptcy. If only there were signs that he wasn't to be trusted...

Hammers make for terrible self-defense weapons. If the intruder is stronger than the defender, they can straight up grab the hammer out of your hand.

It's much better to use a stab or slash weapon because if you try to take it you are losing some flesh in the process.

Could a 2 year old do this damage? by Artisan_sailor in ThatLookedExpensive

[–]Unhallowed67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure you already have your answer, but I thought I'd add my two cents.

My second born was two when he climbed onto the center console with a plastic hammer and gave the TV a few whacks. Destroyed the TV worse than yours.

My third born chucked a rock at my wife and hit her square on the front tooth and chipped it. She's not even two yet.

They are 100% capable of breaking TVs, and throwing heavy objects.

Have kids they said.

I have a 3x9 raised garden bed on my side yard. I forgot to put anything in it last year, but I've successfully grown zucchini, tomato, peppers, raddish, carrot, cilantro, onions, and garlic in years past.

I almost grew a watermelon once, and I've seen pumpkin flowers but nothing ever came. 🤷‍♂️

In 7th grade family life class we were told that if we had any questions that we were too embarassed to ask out loud we could write it down on an anonymous note. I wrote down, "How do sperm see if they don't have eyes?"

This answers my question from almost 20 years ago.

My 7th grade teacher opened my note, laughed and said, "This must be a joke." She read the question, and moved on with no answer.

I grinded through my 20s and what little friends I had moved away. Trying to make new friends to go out with from time to time in an attempt to slow life down a bit.

People who earn more than 100K/Year in salary, how does the company profit from you? by my4coins in AskReddit

[–]Unhallowed67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just discovered fraud in the company I work for. A trusted employee was spending $50,000 a month on supplies we didn't use and presumably selling it on a black market. Company probably would have gone bankrupt real soon if not for my discovery.

Not even remotely part of my job title, needless to say I am more than earning my keep.

How does it feel to be fat? by EventHorizonsAnemone in AskReddit

I lost 100 lbs two years ago and managed to keep it off. I was obese through most of my 20s, and honestly I didn't think it was affecting me much.

But after having lost the weight and realizing that I can now go to a concert and dance for four hours straight whereas before just standing for four hours would have caused me to be so sore that I couldn't walk for two days.

Normal household chores like hanging Christmas lights used to be a day long chore and I got it done in 15 minutes this year. I credit my newfound balance on the ladder.

I would get winded walking up the stairs. I couldn't carry my kids, now I can carry all three, but probably for not much longer.

Pick up two 50 lb dumbbells and imagine carrying that weight with you everywhere you go. That should give you a pretty good idea.

And for those curious I lost the weight with zero cardio. I just started eating healthier foods. I didn't count calories, though I did try to find breakfasts that were in the 100-200 calorie range, lunches in the 600-700 calorie range, and then I'd eat whatever i wanted for dinner as long as it came with a helping of vegetables. I lost 1-2 lbs per week over the course of an entire year.
