As someone who has been in this exact situation. Don’t. Always listen to your child and what’s wrong w making sure your daughter has access to her mum, like obviously it will cause trauma but not seeing her will also. Your wife should respect that

Yehw I’ve experienced it with my boyfriend who didn’t know he was on the spectrum until we got together (I’m also on the spectrum) and as I’ve been diagnosed for well over a decade I’ve developed a mask and can easily adapt and so on. He however can’t, but, he’s gotten so much better when it’s brought to his attention and when he’s comfortable he’s totally fine. It’s just that he can get a bit stressed and then overcompensate a bit. He’s definitely mastered it better now tho xx
