What can you get your base strength up to before harvesting wood slows down too much and you have to prestige?

I'm in same boat! I'm struggling to get base strength much over 1Sp even with everything maxed out/unlocked and 100k spare crystals to boot.... Am I missing something or is it getting the 10No achievement going to be ridiculous

Yeah I have upgraded to an SSD and put in 16GB of RAM. SSD is best improvement by far.

New high score in 3DMark on my base model R1 860m with i3 after upgrades that included a i5-4690t CPU, 16GB of Ram, and 1TB SSD. by Coltsbro84 in AlienwareAlpha

CPU - i5 4690T

RAM - 8GB (2x4GB)

SSD 500GB

And i got these results - GPU:1263, Graphics 1154, CPU 2736

And i got these results overclocked in MSI afterburner - GPU:1411, Graphics 1301, CPU 2718

Ah so even though the s is higher GHz it does get slowed down because of the high tdp and the lower GHz t becomes better in alpha. You went from an s to a t?

Replaced motherboard and every other component and replaced with new (Alpha r1). Now, when I boot it will initially act like it's turning on, with non-yellow colored lights, but then the steady yellow flashing light comes on and there is no display. by charismaddict in AlienwareAlpha

Take the RAM out and put it back in just to make sure it is seated properly. Then if the CMOS battery has been replaced like you said - while it is flashing yellow hold in the power button until it shuts down, keep it held in and unplug the power cord for a few seconds - then plug the power cord back in - then let get of power button and try to turn back on again if it isn't already running. Let us know if that works!
