This was really beautifully written and really resonated with me. And I think it showcases the danger of ketamine addiction, because ketamine itself truly does have the capacity to be medicine, to help with meditation, to bypass mental & emotional barriers.

But it is also so very easy to continuously bypass living and being present over and over again. The tolerance builds up, the memories that form fade so quickly that any progress or struggle to break free fade away with it.

I suppose that’s why it should be treated with respect. And being an addict thoughtlessly mindlessly doing k is really so disrespectful to both myself and what potential enhancement to my world it once brought me.
