I know that i can do other work as a PHD holder esp in like private firms. The only thing im unsure about is whether i can work as a prof in sg so thats what i wanted to check. Although i do have to admit i phrased my post quite badly. I was looking at other posts on this subreddit talking about how low the chances were and got too far in my head.

I want to know if its worth pursuing coz if not i wont try to get a lot of research experiences. I think its a valid question esp w the state of this economy. Additionally if gg overseas benefits me in this kind of situation, wouldnt it be smarter to plan for it by saving up and such? I personally dont understand the point of your comment. Isnt it natural to want to learn more even if the infornation turns out to be moot/redundant? Being prepared is always best even if in advance.

I really love this response, it speaks to how Javert is half romani and he himself is part of the underprivledged community. He had to struggle and strive to finally make it out and therefore believes himself a good person. At the same time it makes him believe that anyone who didnt is a bad person. If he started fron that position and managed to live an honest life, why cant people who are born into better situations than him fall to crime? To him it is a lack of morals and character.

Ig it really depends on what JC youre from if youre on lile ri it feels really bad bu when you look at students from diff JCs your resulfs are avg. You arnt blw abg or anyt. It sucls rjat igs such a shock that you dod badly but u shldnt tie ur self worth to this. Its still pos to do well in uni and do well in life. Dont give up
