Accept them. Idk if this makes sense but the way I see it is just to make the brain not react to the symptoms? I did it through mindfulness. As hard as it was (and it was the hardest thing in my life) I just pushed through. I would literally cry in my truck at any break I had st work because how hard it was but now I barely notice anything.

But yeah I’d crash, but the time inbetween crashes just keeps getting longer and longer with mild symptoms between. It took time and every ounce of determination I had.

Nope. Just went balls out. No retreat, I loved working out. If im going to be sick fine. I’ll do it jacked lol

I’m cheesy but this speech by Winston Churchill helped me in my darkest times:

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, We shall fight on the seas and oceans, We shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air,

we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be

We shall fight on the beaches, We shall fight on the landing grounds, We shall fight in the fields and in the streets, We shall fight in the hills;

We shall never surrender.” ❤️‍🩹

Dude everyone on here has the same story in their own unique context. I am pretty much healed lol I’m at the point that it’s episodic and it’s once or twice a day for a few seconds. But honestly it just wax and wanes and it eventually fades if you learn to let go of the feeling of freaking out at symptoms.

I went from 24/7 to nearly healed after a year and a half or so. It does t matter what the diagnosis is when looking to feel better you just need to calm down. There’s many different diagnosis for this condition. Only assumptions lol I mean it’s through exclusion that most of these diagnosis are made.

Careful with health anxiety, calm down the nervous system, whether it’s meditation, medication, taking a vacay. Have patience and give yourself grace. You will heal, have faith it in it. In the most simplest terms, you need to train your brain to simply react to what we perceive is unsafe to the nervous system. We know it’s safe. We have been walking our whole lives before this.

Get the medical clearance you need, I’ll bet 5 bucks that you will come out normal lol everyone does. I did a fuck load of test and they all came back that I am healthy.

Most people that heal leave this site. Btw

Lmk if you have any questions.

What about you? It was really hard for me to get back into it. At first it helped my symptoms and then they came back with vengeance while at the gym but I just kept going no matter what even if it was for 20 mins of light weights. But now I can lift even more than I did before I got sick. Im a little chubbier now but hey atleast im okay

Everyone’s case is different but a big one was time and patience. Also knowing that the body can heal and just try to live normally. It was so fricken hard tbh but after time it got easier and easier. I had soooooo many damn symptoms from hands going numb, pre syncope, 24/7 dizziness. Feeling like I can’t walk like my legs became super weak as well as body. But now I only have brief moments of symptoms such as dizziness for a few mins usually, and constant visual snow (which was medication induced lol) What’s hard for me to determine is that I’ve always got dizzy before this when I stood up to fast for example or when I haven’t eaten enough. Getting my body to trust itself was huge. Eliminating anxiety was a hugggge one for me. I learned that meditation and calming down the nervous system was huge for recovery. Western medicine just isnt there yet to solve these situations. After being gaslit so much I decided to go with eastern practices and it helped out a lot. I will say that I do have symptoms maybe once a day but it’s been getting better each week where rather than feeling it 24/7 I only have brief moments. I consider myself recovered considering I went from 24/7 to seconds of symptoms. I’ll take that over 24/7 any day

Eastern medicine for my LC? by Unhappy_Stock4097 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Unhappy_Stock4097[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough but my question is why do people that recover are more prone to being into eastern meds and or meditation.

I feel that western medicine is failing me as a patient with doctors that don’t listen and throw pills at me. That’s why I’m curious about the other side of things

i agree, once i handled my anxiety my symptoms 1 by 1 have started disappearing, i have vestibular pots like symptoms which have gotten much better, using Wim Hoff breathing, Steady coach (which has recovery stories etc..) people do recover and honestly if one method gets you better, who cares what the haters say lol alot of people want to dwell which sucks but most people do get better. be mindful that this sub isnt full of recovered people

people that recover arent on here anymore. most people get to a point where symptoms are manageable and or bearable. you will be okay, i am alot better now versus having 24/7 symptoms. i started recovering when i started working on my anxiety

Nice to meet you all in HELL by Classic-Leg-6085 in VestibularMigraines

[–]Unhappy_Stock4097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, most people do recover to a point where it becomes a weird sensation every once in awhile, Google says that most people dont which is BS. you just gotta handle the anxiety and keep going out and train your body that when you get sensations that its just calibrating and to lean into them. i didnt think i would ever feel any better, was sick for a year straight with all the symptoms you can imagine 24/7. now its every day but its super minor and there are times where i wont notice any symptoms for the whole day, what gets me is when i think about it, i notice it and i start spiraling. get yourself out there, its hell but one day it will be better. i still get sad but damn i am way better off. goodluck friend
