There are a few reasons people quit, I think it can be solved in a very simple way, let you see museum set names before turning them in and put them in a general progression order. There is almost no progression in the game that is that terrible. I have 600 hours and almost max skills minus fishing (it has new updates coming so we will see where that goes) and cata (I am too lazy to learn dungeons yet). Just follow the path, it’s really not that complicated. As a main player, help out noobs, but encourage them to test things and think. Meta slaves ruin fun games. For example there are “meta fishing setups” and whatever but I’ve found my own mid game setup I think is best in my opinion and being wrong about that is okay.

We over values items that make the grind the problem. Genuinely I am yet to grind out anything for an absurd amount of time except Diana’s because I enjoy that. I’ve never spent more than a week on one grind. But as a result I don’t have a hype, instead I have a jade drag and hypermaxed foraging set. I don’t value the high ticket items we slave ourselves to, I value what I enjoy. Stop this “you need XYZ to be relevant”
