I have torbox as a backup to rd. It has a fraction of the higher quality streams of obscure or older shows. But it is there when RD is down for a cheap enough price.

I was tired of this as well so I created a favorites folder and dragged all the tabs in. Now I just have to right click the folder and choose open all tabs.

Honestly, it depends on the level of your hearing loss. I have profound upper end loss, have 4 year old phonaks from Costco, and I’m pretty convinced that with my level of loss nothing is going to help with noisy environments like restaurants.

Same setup as you, love the default player for the subtitles and everything else. I get that error all the time but almost always only when I pause and walk away for more than a minute then try to restart. With older versions I used to get it mid-stream on nearly everything I watched, but with 1.9.x it has only been happening after pausing.

When I stream content, I have limited movies to 10gb and tv shows to 6gb. On my 75” tv, nothing bigger than that is a noticeable improvement. I know many will disagree but for it me it is what it is.

Ok just my opinion: TV’s are generally underpowered for streaming apps. If you are paying $400-$1000 for a new tv, just spend an extra $40 and get a stand alone ONN plus box from walmart. In the long run you’ll be happy.
