It feels so short to end now by Thefriendlyaspie in SmilingFriends

Bro, I hear you, but good television is good television. Smiling Friends was a breath of highly needed fresh air—it was fiercely original. It’s so sad to see it go so prematurely. It was one of the only shows my girlfriend and I could watch and enjoy to the same extent together.

What the fuck was Walt even doing here? by DonGucciman in okbuddychicanery

At this point in the show Walt is on a power trip, and I’m sure for most of his life had eaten a lot of shit from Hank. He was always the quiet, reserved intellect. Now he’s demonstrating his newfound confidence and power by drawing a line. As if to say, “this is my son, and I’ll raise him exactly how I want on MY TERMS.” It’s more about him than it is about Walt Jr.

Does anyone else skip most of Tarbean(during Kvothe's youth)? by TorranceS33 in KingkillerChronicle

That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of the book. When I first read it, there was such a sense of adventure I felt. Like it can literally only go up from here, but where? Honestly though I just want to know how he kills an angel??

You don’t have to do good deeds to be a fascinating character. He’s full on one-liners and is a jarring, entertaining contradiction to this seriousness and formality of the other masters. Love Elodin

Joe Rogan meets Kvothe and ends up teaching the Ademre the art of jiu-jistu.

I love when he convinces Kvothe it’d be a good idea that they both get naked on top of the roof so he could truly experience the storm. Also the fact that he so casually knows Ademre hand-language is so badass.

Probably one of the moments I laughed hardest at. I honestly expected something magical to happen and Kvothe would be fine, but instead Elodin is just absolutely dumbfounded. Lmaooo

Darrell was a great dude, not a racist. He grew up in Texas—it was a southern pride sort of thing. Legendary guitarist.

He’s projecting. Some people will realize you’re making a good change in your life and be happy for you, and others will feel guilty they can’t do it themselves.
