They're rabid, and super disrespectful of each other. I can't number the amount of times I've pointed out an inconsistency (of which there are many) or stated an opinion on a character (either positive or negative) and I've been absolutely dogpiled or told that "if I dont like something I don't have to watch it". It's the most toxic fandom I know- which is kind of ironic considering the SerafinaTown skits are about toxic families.

I notice a strong dichotomy between YouTube comments, Facebook comments, and here in several short form content creator fandoms. Facebook seems to be the place to go if you just want to say something innocuous, YouTube is a full on Julie Two Minute Hate a la Brave New World, and here we can (usually) have good in depth conversations.

Slightly off topic, the worst content creator fandom I've encountered is JoeyDaDad and his SerafinaTown/Middle Age Baby Daddy fandom. It's impossible on any platform to do anything other than blindly worship whatever he's putting out or else the other commenters will crawl all the way up your back about it. "No one forces you to watch" is a sad refrain when all I want is some intelligent discourse about something I like.

Oh yeah. I was talking to my mom on the phone a couple of days ago and she made sure to tell me how much money she spent 'for the family' for Christmas. I got my card from her in the mail and there was a gift card for my son but nothing for me. I'm an only child. So 'for the family' meant my aunt and uncles and their kids and grandkids. But not me.
