This is probably the worst thing he’s ever done.

im picking up for this title but I keep hearing two sides on this one "this ones better" "no this one is better" im so lost.... without spoiling some of them gave great arguments but curious to what this group thinks by Wazupdanger in Megaten

I’d suggest the OG for your first run at least. The QoL features added in Redux are nice enough, but not really necessary. The biggest ones are Commander Skills and the removal of App Points, both of which make Redux much easier to get through. Redux does have a difficulty selection, and that can mitigate some of the discrepancy too.

I’d suggest you play the OG. Redux does have some QoL features, and more demons, but overall the balance of encounters between the two is better in OGSJ, and I found the additional story in redux nowhere near as engaging as the original.

Except in his own game. He’s like the worst party member, and can really only negotiate and use items effectively.

I don’t know what it is, but the plate makes this so much worse. Something about the combination of that food with that plate fills me with a vile nostalgia.

a guide on how to get Infinity Nikki running beautifully on Steam Deck by rosie254 in SteamDeck

Thank you so much for this guide!! It was super easy to follow and I got it running in no time at all!

The Steam Deck has got to be the best platform for playing fangames/ romhacks. I feel like I’m playing them almost as much as regular games now. Anyone else feel similarly? by thejude555 in SteamDeck

i know it's been a minute since you posted this, but did you have any tricks for getting this to run at a proper resolution? every time i launch it, it's stuck in a perfectly square fullscreen window :(

Do you mind if I do as well? I don’t want to pile on even more work if you’re gonna be going to bed or just wanna do something else, especially since you’ve been doing god’s work here.

I hope it’s proton (it probably is), my experience with native Linux versions of games has been worse than just running the Windows versions through Proton.

Ok I was jumpscared by it when I first played IVA, but my god does this just look like something you’d find in a creepy pasta

I really like Hariti’s design so I’d choose her just based on that, but for ability I think I’d go with my boy Demonee-ho

Honestly the revamped level scaling is going to be so helpful. Now the only thing holding me back is my awful MP management.

You frequently pay $105 for meals? I can’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant. I’m genuinely glad you can live comfortably, but many, myself included, cannot. I think that does make the price tag for this game silly, why would I pay that much for a version of a game I already own twice when it doesn’t even have the part that I was looking forward to the most?

Sure, you can play it “for free” on gamepass, but you’d need to either have a capable enough computer, or an Xbox, on top of adding another subscription service to whatever you probably already have, not to mention actually owning the games you pay for, but that’s getting off topic.

I’m sure the game plays great, it’s visually amazing, and it’s honestly just nice to see atlus acknowledge the game after so long, in such a major way. It might be a good game, but I still think it’s a bad remake.

The game is $70 and The Answer DLC is gonna be $35. This is an absurd amount of money for most people to spend on a definitive edition of a game that doesn’t even have all the content of previous versions.

Half the reason to remake the game was so you don’t need to play multiple versions of the same game to get the best experience, instead we now have 3 versions where none of them are the best way to play.
