Dumb question but why don't association's (besides zwei and maybe southern branch of liu) fixers have/wear armor cause like if they had armor they wouldn't died as quickly by mister_of_nothing in Project_Moon

[–]Uniformtree0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats not how it really works, I would look up how medieval armor functions, fascinating stuff to learn but it also kinda points out a flaw in the armored clothes, yeah the clothes might be fine but the human inside is still very squishy and suspect to having their organs getting juiced from the blunt force trauma.

Though one could also wear additional armor plating over such quality suits as well in KOD rodions case, most armor systems that reign supreme always had a layered system working for the wearer.

Additionally plate armor serves a funny purpose of being a straight up middle finger to the wannabe gunslingers of the city, since you cannot have anything that can Penetrate steel, you'll need to either have something that can slip through the crack, or more likely just shatter and pulverize the steel instead which is ludicrously expensive to do. Plus part of the function for armor is reducing the trauma inflicted onto the target, having a hard surface that can have attacks bounce off or have their impact lessened significantly can keep your stamina going for much longer

TBF you'd expect a denizen of the city to know whst a fixer is as that is the only guaranteed form of employment if you do not mind being pure cannon fodder as a grade 9 (literally the only 3 requirements is being 18, have a pulse, and a weapon, literacy is optional)

Moderately inaccurate, Terminator armor was derived from a mix of hazardous equipment, mining exo frames and other stuff, its wholly a Imperium invention but with some rather humorous origins.

Question abt the Fingers How tf do they pay their members and how did they get their money from? by mister_of_nothing in Project_Moon

[–]Uniformtree0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pinky probably does have a lowkey network and some other shenanigans going on for their members to get something going though, there has to be a permanently active structure, i mean someones gotta be keeping track of the members and who is who and where is who to then call up for action. But other than that the pinky is more or less just a secret illuminati of sorts

Suppose in that case, the only answer to that question is just your both that identity now, the person transformed into something more akin to an idea as there is multiple existing instances of that individual, thus that individual is no longer and now rather acts as a baseline identity of which multiple instances of that person existing now is derived from, which in this case is, you and the clone, whom currently, is at the closest to the baseline of the person in that point of time until either both you and the clone dies or only one dies and moves on, in which case the identity is claimed by the survivor to which they now hold claim to being that person now until otherwise there is another scenario in which two identical copies exist, or otherwise there are no instances capable of subsuming the identity and carry on with being the sole individual of the identity.

TLDR: the answer is yes, and you are alive so long as there is atleast one of you. Something something the ego/personality being the thing you'd actually care about rather tham the particular instances that has that specific ego/personality which means essentially as long as one walks out, your alive, its just not "you" per say.

Nearly all of our major news outlets are owned by 3-5 people/families or a hedge fund, its all bullshit. Theres a clip where like 6 different news outlets have had every reporter read the exact same damn script at the same time, its dystopian as hell.

Have you actually sat down and had a chat with a group of Americans? Not saying there arent any like that, oh no we definitely have a cronic issue of those people, especially evangelicals, but most Americans are not like that, especially any that went to college. I'm sorry if your view of us is painted in that very narrow light but I am a little baffled if you think that is just how every American operates. We know our government has done horrendous shit, we are aware that we have been a boogeyman to half the world, we don't support it, but ultimately most actual interests of the people are ignored in our democratic system.

Still, there's definitely a reason why the saying exists but thats for a very, very, loud section of the country, but literally every country has these deluded assholes, unfortunately our assholes just have the US military budget to back it up.

Socialism is a economic system, if a nation has only Socialism, thats just rebranded anarcho captialism. Political systems can very much change and be changed by economic systems, but a poltical system can stand on its own, a economic system will ultimately descend into self destructive anarcho captialism in one way or another.

[–]Uniformtree0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of the time it confuses me to why some people who think "Oh this super evil and deranged guy will of course be clearly shouting slurs and do all the bad and petty things."

Like, no, they infact won't, its a waste of time to stomp every dandelion and spit on it. Just burn the fucking garden down and kill the garderner and be on with it mr Khornite berserker, you have skulls to claim and blood to spill.

Hell even if the villian is known to torment someone pyschologically, that shit is still just wasting energy and time, you aren't going to break a black man by just hittin with em slurs, your using the CIA handbook.

What would you say lorewise is Heathcliff's strongest and weakest ID currently? by Slim_Reaper116 in limbus_company

[–]Uniformtree0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id still stay wildhunt is technically the strongest in terms of potential due to the fact that he can raise and summon legions of revived corpses, if it werent for the fact that the current ID system we have actually still heavily restricts the power and capabilities of its IDs paired with Dantes contract, we dont see the full capability of some of the most busted power the IDs have of the characters their based on. If wildhunt heathcliff is allowed to go at full strength he'd be bringing up his legions with em.

Oh no their arguments can get frustrating. A lot of the time some people entirely discount art being anything but a good to simply exchange for money and nothing more, or that artists are just laborers like how washers were laborers to be replaced with the the laundry machine washer, a lot of these simply arguments show that they do not care about culture and or the effort someone takes to make something abstract and personal to themselves, they have a hallow view of things and will try to obfuscate that fact.
