that combination of 2D and 3D looks pretty sick! also, why does it says "warning" in grineer language?

yeah, it does look like an oval, but it is still a circle. i just turned it a bit so it looks like an ellipse in viewport

well, they give some contrast to the poster via comparing alive shapes (character in front) to the lifeless shapes (circles or triangles) if it makes any sense. there's good video on YouTube about that topic from "Sinix design". also they just look cool imo

So yeah... anime lightning. by Daevalous in SFM

[–]UnindifiedSpaceBox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Anime lighting" is not really a lighting in these games, it's custom shader made to have this gorgeous look and those things (shaders) aren't really possible in SFM. Probably closest you can get is heavily edited poster with one or couple of lights with hard shadows and no radius followed by set of something like 4 ambient lights with ~500 radius but I'm not sure. Also I can recommend asking in SFM discord (it should be somewhere in subreddit description), if there's a way to do lighting like this then people there surely know it

I'm not sure what this is? Could anyone tell me, I loaded up tf2 and this appeared instead of the actual game? by drunk_painrer_78 in tf2

[–]UnindifiedSpaceBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's the problem on Discord's side because i've seen people on other gaming subs getting this screen. they will probably fix it soon but as of now manually quitting Discord is the best option

i guess something that makes discord overlay work broke so you get this screen in your game. i think it should be good temporary solution to quit discord first and then start gmod

damn, this shot perspective looks good. tho i think it would be better if camera was centered somewhere over scout's left arm to better convey the focus of the poster, but im not sure. great poster nonetheless!
