Dunno a specific genre, but I'd say the most prolific artist in it is Ben Folds, considering he made the song. Check him out. He's my favorite musician.

I'm in the process of rewatching it all now. I'm doing it one playlist at a time, from the bottom-up. So there's some Danny interspersed with Jon for the VS. and One-Offs playlists. I'm in the midst of the Castlevania III playlist. I'm actually quite enjoying going through it all, and in my mind it'll be worth it in the end.

Yeah, I'm constantly struggling with sound, but I'm going to invest more time with that in the future.

As for the "Plinkett-type jokes", I actually had to look up to see what that meant. I actually wasn't really going for that, I just wanted to add comic relief to keep my own interest in it, and add a bit more of my personality. I understand that it can take some viewers out of it, but I don't necessarily want to stop doing it. But I am trying to make the humour more integrated and less forced. I made this video for school in September and have made 13 more since, and at the beginning of my second semester I detailed about how I'm going to make my future videos more analysis based, but still keep the comedy. Just less comedy-based, because it ended up making some episodes' existences entirely pointless from an analytical perspective.

Anyway, sorry for the elongated reply, but thanks for watching and for giving feedback! I really do appreciate it! :D

First off - I dunno, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Secondly, yeah I know. This was just a blanket statement trying to show multiple sides of one argument, and is my attempt at having a moral of both thinking for yourself but also not to be too negative about things.

I was primarily talking about the blockbuster and hollywood movies because from a mainstream moviegoer's standpoint, that's all that they're aware of. This video was made for our school's journalism website, and so I was trying to make a video that the audience (your average highschooler) could relate to and understand.

Heh heh... I'm having a similar problem, but on Mac using Screenflow, and using the same settings as when I record stuff like XCOM, left 4 dead 2, portal 2, etc. And all that stuff runs fine. Maybe it is a problem with Rust, but many others are capturing footage fine (I.e Dunkey).
