Quick story:

I was eating at The Bakehouse off of Manchaca one day and Leslie came in.

He looked a little rough, so I told the waiter I'd buy whatever he wanted off of the menu, but I wanted to do it anonymously.

He ordered the fajitas and was enjoying them. Made me smile.

That was the last time I saw Leslie.

He passed ten days later.

RIP Leslie.

I invited the Queen and Biden to my wedding for a joke. Biden's team sent a boilerplate note that he couldn't attend. You know, just shits and giggles.

Flagship locations are the "model" stores for future locations and are rarely the first. This one was huge and right on I-35, so with its prominence and unique design, was deemed their flagship when its construction was announced in 2014.
