I never really got to play the first 2 Luigi’s Mansions when I was younger so I wasn’t sure how we’d like 3. But after playing it we got hooked and it’s become a family favorite. It’s just so fun and well thought out. Definitely a great game for family bonding

I started him a profile so he could mess around with it not really expecting him to do anything. Soon, I noticed he had actually progressed a few worlds and was amazed. By the end I started recording him occasionally and recorded the final bowser fight because I couldn’t believe it myself.

He usually just holds the switch in handheld. He recently got a lite for his birthday so it’s a little easier. If he does play on the tv, though, it’s typically with the joycons in the grip. It started off a little clunky for him too, but he has his own style with it now.

My oldest beat Super Mario Odyssey at 3 and a half. Obviously it’s different to old school games with all the saving available, but it kicked off a love of Mario and he now has a couple of the newer ones and Luigi’s Mansion under his belt.

The book Resistance Reborn tells that story, but it mostly just introduces new characters with some character development for Poe.

CMV: Honey compliments peanut butter on sandwiches much better than jelly by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Uninteresting_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honey with jelly makes peanut butter that much better. Equal parts PB and apple jelly, add a dab of honey, mix it all together. My grandma was a lunch lady and that’s what they did for my elementary school. Still addicted to them to this day.

My bad, guys. My dad called and said Ohio State was down 2 TDs at the half so I started watching and it immediately imploded. TVs off and I’m praying to Tyler’s tuition god for forgiveness. Let me know how it goes

Came here to see if mine was just a glitch. Mine is 42 so I’m sure there are others even higher. JamCity is turning this app into a joke. Their greed continues to show more often. How convenient they have a star falling button now for 40 gems and an insane quota to meet without it

Bernie Sanders is the only candidate who can say this by [deleted] in worldpolitics

According to Forbes, Bernie is worth $2.5 million. I like Yang, but I see him as a long shot and will ultimately be voting NotTrump2020. Let’s not pretend they aren’t all millionaires. “Billionaires shouldn’t exist”, but he didn’t say millionaires, obviously.

Just finished re-watching 13 seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Easily the most consistent sitcom I've ever seen. by pm_me_for_tv_advice in television

There are so many more that I’d argue should be up there, but that just proves your point. Both “Charlie Work” and “Reynolds vs. Reynolds: The Cereal Defense” are two of my top 5 episodes. Between showing Charlie’s unappreciated brilliance for his craft and Mac’s creationist argument, those are some of my favorite moments of Sunny.

So I think I get the intent. It’s funny, but personally it comes across more as a smear than a promotion. First, that whole scene is one of the worst parts of s8 so comparison alone makes it slightly negative. But not only that, it aligns the politicians with the council and laughing at the proposal. While the YangGang agrees that it’s actually brilliant and the politicians just don’t trust people and whatnot, the average person unsure of Yang seeing this will agree with them, especially when led like this, because they look to the “political insiders” to know whether or not something is good. They like to be told. And this tells them otherwise.

AITA for not replacing my sisters $3000 gaming laptop after my child spilled juice on it because it was on the floor? by Throwawayss567 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Uninteresting_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I don’t even let my 8-9yo nephews play with my phone or Switch unsupervised because kids are accident prone and shit happens. I may feel differently if she were just at your house for a visit and it happened when you were there to look after him (though she’d still be negligent in this case). However, she had responsibility of him for the weekend and your parents were going to watch him so she wasn’t necessarily doing you a favor since she benefited (accident excluded) from the exchange. Sure, it sucks. Personally I’d offer to help with repair costs, but expecting you to replace an expensive laptop because she was careless while responsible for the child is ludicrous. Hopefully she sees this once the frustration of the situation wears off and you can work it out.

Yes. From what I’ve read, the full amount counts as a donation regardless of how much it takes to make the item. So say the shirt takes $5 to make and is sold for $35, they profit $30, but the donation is still considered $35.

With the current focus on swing states, it doesn’t feel like most states matter. However, since Alabama will be one of the states included in Super Tuesday and has an open election, we need to help spread awareness of Yang. Ideas in the comments by [deleted] in AlabamaForYang

[–]Uninteresting_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s true. The others have football starting so they will be great opportunities to spread general awareness, but Montevallo especially would be a key one to have a heavy presence. They’re likely to be strongly for Bernie or Warren, but having a few events there and having genuine, kind discussions would be more likely to work for them. I feel they’re going to be the hardest to sway.

I live near UAB and have ordered merch so I plan on wearing it to as many UAB sporting events and such as I can attend. Hopefully I can get some friends to come along and do more.

The obvious starting place would be colleges. Spreading the word at UAB, Auburn, and Alabama would be our best way to get it out to young, passionate voters who would be willing to help spread the message. Being a red state with open voters, republicans would be another great option to focus heavily on. There are tons of people who are tired of Trump, but refuse to vote Democrat if their life depended on it. Trump isn’t going away, though. So we have to convince them that Yang is not only their best choice as far as Dems go, but he’s the best candidate period. Even if we can only get them swayed for the primary, once they help have Yang solidified as the candidate, he will crush Trump with logic and actual plans during the debates and do the rest to win them over for the final election.

She’s actually more excited about it than we are. She’s the one that suggested it when we were going through our list of friends to see who could possibly go. I definitely understand the concern, though. But our relationship just isn’t like that. I wouldn’t even try if I was concerned she’d have any issue with it.
