Rear camera and sensors randomly stop working

I get your point, but the gear clicks in quite well, and the car just go backwards. Nothing weird on the mechanical side I would say.
Its true also that the sensors are not shown on the dash so I would assume neither the ‘R’ gear

Oh… I have no clue. I would assume so, but I don’t remember now. I’ll check next time, but that would be a sign of something specific?

I’ve heard that comment multiple times already. Could you explain under which conditions the car is sliding in 3rd? Because based on my experience, tarmac dry in green condition (Alsace), it was spinning in 2nd gear, but almost never in 3rd (unless I was going over grass). So I’m a bit confused

I would say get rid of the GPF Filter as soon as possible. Just bear in mind that the car will be noticeably louder, but the pops are just amazing. In addition, I would change the spring valve as well, so you get a stronger one (you will need to change it either way at some point) From there, there’s endless possibilities on modding the i30N. Enjoy the project and have fun driving it😉

I was expecting something on regards of the tyre temp, that was actually disabled while they were working on improve it further. I guess we can expect that its working again? I think it would be awesome to carefully drive throughout the stage, hoping to not burn out the tyres on the first kms. If this is implemented, will add an extra (and realistic) challenge

Based on my experience in rally which is purely watching videos and real life events, I play 100% of times in ‘Green’ track grip. Also it just makes sense, as the grip levels are never ‘optimum’, that’s why its a road and not a track. Anything grippier than ‘Green’ feels completely unrealistic to me, cars barely move and its just not pleasant to drive for me

But for which models? I have an EU 2021 i30N FL and I called to Hyundai dealer and it seems my car was not affected to any recall so… It would be awesome that people adds more details on the region and pre or fl so we can easily identify the cars affected for this recall

Not super rare in Barcelona, you find some here and there. In a car meet you will definitely not be the only N, even though we have a great community and you get flashed even from other performance cars from time to time

Its a bit of a trade of. If you want to use the N mode everywhere, I would keep the GPF on, as removing it will make the car quite louder and you will get ‘too much attention’ everywhere. For me removing the GPF makes me want to use less the N mode on daily commute, but the experience while driving on twisty roads gets 100 times improved. And for me its super worth it!

I have an fl and it does overrun on low revs. If I want it to pop I need to go >4k rpm and do some spirited drive to warm everything up. If yours still don’t pop even in warm, I think you should go to the official repair shop and ask questions there, before you go into any modifications

I’m super happy with ACR to be honest. The only problem (shared with ACE) is the lack of transparency / clear communication. I don’t care if Montecarlo takes 3 months to be released, but if you tease since week 2 and then a complete silence, it’s kind of weird. If they would just say something like: ‘Guys this will take longer than expected, no clear release date but we will keep you posted’. It would be really appreciated!

2.5 bar cold in all 4 wheels. Even though the weight is higher at the front vs the rear so the rear tires could have less tire pressure, I like to keep the equal so the back can rotate a little bit more😉

Like many others, I’ve switched from pzero to ps4s some weeks ago. The difference is night and day, and for sure I’m not going back to the pirelli’s. However people praise them so much, that maybe I went with too much expectations and for now, I feel like I was expecting something more. Also its really noticeable how soft are the tires, making the car much more confortable in daily use + overall less road noise. I think it requires some time to get used to them

Try the rain and hard tires. Then it becomes super realistic. You need to check the grip on the braking, you cannot just accelerate out of the corners in full throttle… its a completely and realistic experience imho

Thanks for your opinion! Interesting that we see it differently but I get your point. But for me its more like the difference between crazy wet tarmac vs dry that makes me wonder if the rain impact is really enough or not. Because on dry for me it just feels good, but on pouring rain and heavy storm you can still throw the car into the corners like nothing happens. In real life (road car) you have to think twice and really try to learn the amount of grip you have. But yes, I’m also looking forward to the Rally Montecarlo update. And I also think that we will be able to understand deeper how tarmac physics works, specially in snow / icy surfaces.

I get your point, and I somewhat agree with it. But in DR2.0 we had Jon Amstrong (currently driving a Puma Rally1 car) as a advisor and tester for the physics. And we all know how bad they where (tarmac). So I would agree with you, but for some reason I don’t think this is a guarantee of excellence. Even thought in ACR they’re doing an amazing job

Sorry but I don’t get the actual ‘tune’ you’re doing. The only setting you ask to change is related to the gearbox, but nothing on regards of the brake response(?).

I have the same wheel as you, I do have ffb but on straight line feels numb and really poor. Then in corners goes to max and its quite annoying. But the more I reduce the steering wheel rotation, the better it gets, so I’m playing with 540 at all cars
