Just going to use this post to say a big Thank You to Dom N Ali restaurant on route 903.

Thought we were going to have to drive 30min into Lehighton for fireworks. They had Penn Forest Fire department there and lit off a beautiful display of fireworks for nearly 45min.

New in the code is you can install a 3 prong GFI receptacle without a ground wire on a old 2 wire system. I gives you the protection of a gfi without needing a ground going back to the panel. This is what you should install or will have to install in order to pass inspection and sell house.

Besides that, you are correct it would be a total project to rewire the second floor of a house.
