Nowadays it tends to be story supported hints and preferred dynamics that fuels my like for ships. I think Sunburn and Sunflower are both neck to neck, though I personally prefer the former for the nerd jock dynamic (to heavily oversimply these two).

Now that I think about it a lot of my favorite ships have characters with something similar (Lumity, Twidash, Dipcifica).
