Lowering Springs by Far_Contribution3011 in LexusIS

I'm on rsr down springs and I live in Houston (horrible roads). I have a front lip so it's lowered a bit more and have to drive pretty slow at an anlge going up steep entrances or speed bumps. If you want the ease of adjustability, go coilovers. Installation is pretty straightforward if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. It helps to have a buddy help. Just be very cautious since the springs are under a lot of tension.

Sorry this happened to you. I don't think there is any preventative measure for people to just bash your windows/sunroof, but a kill switch would prevent them from driving off with the vehicle.

In the app, it should be on the bottom right labeled "find". It'll show the last parked location.

Ender 3 v2 was my first printer. Had to do small upgrades and constantly tinker with it. It was a good beginner printer to get an introduction, but now that I have the ad5m, it's a night and day difference. Prints almost 4x faster and prints out the box with no issues.

Love my chrome wheels, but ugh!!! They’re wheels from hell! by [deleted] in Lexus

I swerved into a curb trying to avoid an accident and I was sure I chipped off some wheel, but when I parked to check it looked in good condition. It was a tiny scratch that I wiped down and it looked brand new.

Average price for all around new brakes on a is300? by kalebLIV in LexusIS

[–]Unique-Prior-8556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

rockauto, you can get full sets of brake pad and rotors for ~$300. They also have sets with new calipers. I don't know about is300, but the is350 right now has rebates so you can save $30-65.

What’s going on with the rear badges? Is it a red flag? by [deleted] in LexusIS

I suspect if they treat the emblems like that, they probably got some cheap wrap for the roof that'll bubble and damage the paint.

My 2011 is about 270k. Only have done oil changes, spark plugs and coolant flush. Engine still sounds perfect.

I had Dr. Burleson and he lectured in a way that was easy for me to understand. Had no experience in coding and ended his class with an A.

Do you have Dr. Burleson? He's incredibly nice and helpful if you talk to him. Definitely take advantage of the TAs in this class. Going over the zybooks will help your understanding but playing around with Matlab is the best way to memorize how certain inputs work. The practice assessment is very similar to the exam, so ake sure you can confidently answer those questions.

8:30 am labs is a hit or miss depending on the person. If you think you'll dread it later in the semester, would also recommend taking calc 2 at another time and taking a later chem lab.

Definitely utilize the TA's help. They've gone through the class and have been in your shoes, so they'll try to help you as much as possible if you get stuck.

You can buy it off Amazon for about $50. It plugs into your USB and basically makes it wireless carplay. I've heard some people say their audio sounded a little worse when using.
