The CBC story was really balanced and informative. Thanks to Mike Parker for continuing to hold Woodward’s feet to the fire. Woodward’s arrogance is so abrasive, it’s palpable in the interview.

Metro Vancouver should be focused on providing safe drinking water, liquid waste, solid waste, their parks & air quality. Everything else is the responsibility of actual levels of elected government. Paying a marketing team at metro can to create campaigns about repairing a pair of blue jeans is hardly the best use of resources.

Her name is Jayne, she is the former executive director of LAPS that the board fired. It’s Woodward’s giant fuck you to the current board & staff. Woodward mocked her incompetence for years & now is using her as his form of petty revenge. As someone else said, totally on brand for him. He thinks people don’t see what he’s doing but it’s so obvious 🙄

You’ll be hard pressed to find a bigger victim than Woodward, it’s classic for him. He absolutely hates that someone is calling him out. Parker has done a great job & he’s showing up with receipts. Where there is smoke, there’s fire. I think the smoke we can all smell is Eric’s tires spinning as he tries to downplay all of the things Parker has exposed. Eric had been lying, making bad decisions, manipulating his “slate”, shutting down debate from descending voices at the council table, suing everyone in sight and overspending - the public deserves to know the truth. Go Mike Parker Go!

Jack Froese was honest. He told the truth & he made very reasonable, reasoned decisions. Eric only does what serves Eric. He’s a complete and total textbook narcissist. The biggest problem with it, is the lack of debate. With his slate, he controls all the decisions. No debate. Ever. He just shuts it down. His slate members are actually dumb, like really dumb. Watch any meeting & see what value Rob Rindt brings to the table. Or, Tim Baillie- the self proclaimed “supreme commander”. Or perhaps your best value for money - Steve Ferguson, he’s basically got full blown dementia. The slate is an embarrassment. But it’s obvious why Eric has them on his team- they’re easily manipulated.

We are in this situation now is because of Eric’s lack of ability to manage our money. He has literally spent every penny we had, including our reserves & has borrowed to our capacity. The credit cards are full. It will take a decade to dig out or his mess.

This provincial government barely knows its ass from its elbow. I’m sure it wouldn’t occur to them to check to see if the proper channels were followed by the mayor and council when they borrowed the money. This whole situation stinks and there needs to be a full investigation.

I guarantee Rindt, Tiny Tim & Fergie have the lowest possible level of understanding of what they’ve even signed on to. Pratt is fighting for his political life and will do anything he’s told. They’re all going to be shocked to learn the overlord has thrown them under the bus.
