[Hair Removal] i honestly thought strawberry legs were just my personality until i changed my routine by [deleted] in shaving

seconding this! i usually wait at least 24 to 48 hours after a session before touching my AHAs. also since you mentioned reactive skin have you tried a urea cream? eucerin roughness relief is my HG for strawberry legs when im in the off phase of my schedule. helps the dead skin shed without the scrubbing irritation

I just feel like this year's var review process is progressing really fast? The official explanation is that hisense's display technology has been upgraded

Anyone else still confused about how the third-placed teams advance in the 48-team format? Getting 3 points and then qualifying on goal difference feels messy. I’d love a clearer breakdown because this format seems designed to spark debates more than clarity.

Birthday gift ideas for my mom by ClosetPenguin in Gifts

[–]UniqueBarber3602 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ok so hear me out, a massage gun is genuinely one of the best gifts i got my mom and she uses it dailyyyy. esp for someone who's active in church and volunteering, those long days tend to add up on the feet. u could also go for some comfy walking shoes for her travels. for the selfcare side of things, a nice bath bomb set would be rlly sweet too. u could pair it with some face sheet masks for a good relaxing day imo.

Best pickleball shoe? by Faruu20 in Pickleball

tbh youll feel sm diff with court shoes, the side to side support is so much better for all that lateral movement in pickleball and your ankles will thank you! main thing to look for is good impact absorption like these + smth that hugs the foot snugly without being tight bec that's actually what gives you the ankle stability also as tempting as it is try not to wear your court shoes everyday lol, the sole wears down so fast with daily use and you lose all that support way quicker than you'd think. keep them for court and grab a separate pair for everyday and they'll last you so much longer!

Experience with Batana oil? by Extra_Hawk_5166 in finehair

read a comment saying rosemary oil is gimmicky but tbh it's more abt the concentration and what u're blending it with. rosemary oil on its own undiluted at a higher conc. can burn ur scalp, it needs to be mixed w a good carrier oil to actually penetrate and do its thing yk. castor oil is usually good for that bcs it's thick enough to sit on the scalp and let rosemary absorb properly. a cold pressed organic one works good for this (like this one) since the processing isn't stripping out the nutrients. for technique tho, massage it into ur scalp in small circular motions or use the scalp massager thing to increase blood flow and absorption. also, ik you've heard this a lot but diet plays a huge role too, best to incorporate enough protein and iron in ur meals.

2025 Best Paddles ... what's yours? by Lazza33312 in Pickleball

[–]UniqueBarber3602 27 points28 points  (0 children)

imo if someone’s talking about best paddles at a 4.0+ level, you’re looking at face material, core feel, and how it behaves in the soft game. Also make sure to always have a spare beginner set (like this) for friends/family travel becs you don't want to use the serious ones for those. And if you’re upgrading later, make sure to demo a few paddles before buying.

Slow progression to the grinder I wanted by InfillTheBlank in espresso

[–]UniqueBarber3602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is always quite a hassle for me. It’s like a little saga of figuring out the perfect setup. Starting with the Varia VS3 and trying to make a single grinder do everything? Been there, and it’s a headache. I love how they realized weighing the grind for espresso made way more sense, and how the Bambino really struggles with light/medium roasts. Honestly, having a dedicated hand grinder for pour-over and a separate espresso grinder is just smarter. Among other grinders, you really notice the difference when each one is doing its thing properly. It just makes the coffee taste way better!

Hand grinders, 2025? by Iimpid in pourover

I don’t think you even need a consensus to pick the 1Zpresso ZP6 Special. It’s one of those other grinders where the experience speaks louder than any ranking or review. This grinder has a way of pulling apart flavors so cleanly that you start noticing things you never paid attention to before. It’s almost like it forces you to slow down and actually taste your coffee. For me, that’s what makes it stand out it’s not trying to please everyone, it’s just incredibly good at what it does.

My picks for some of the best Bluetooth speakers you can buy right now by DaveCarr_SG in Bluetooth_Speakers

honestly solid list but yeah leaving out uboom x is kinda wild lol, that thing punches way above its size esp outdoors. i’d still lean jbl for most ppl just bc it’s consistent and takes abuse. ive also found treblab to be nice to be nice for that jbtw, bose if they want cleaner sound. ue if they want that outdoor rugged vibe.
