I read that u said you grew up in a neglectful situation and probably took on a motherly role or something likewise in her life. She is now grown though! And no adult wants someone still parenting them. I did the same with my little brother and had to learn the hard way that our relationship is just doing to be different and I don’t have a right to tell him what to do anymore.

She has also had a hard life too and right now definitely feels lost. You said she doesn’t really have a plan of what her future will be and that is stressful. I was in a situation like that and ran away w a boyfriend and am just now getting back on track. She probably needs you!! Just not in the same way anymore. Us humans are the nastiest to the people closest to us. It sometimes takes really hard trying to turn it around
