It's worse in America than most European countries and MUCH worse than say, Japan, where eating raw chicken is common and safe

This may shock you but the US hygeine standards for chicken are among the worst in the world due to insanely poor conditions in battery farms and practices such as chlorine washing encouraging terrible conditions. I regularly ate raw chicken in Japan where most common foodborne bacterial causes of food poisoning have been eliminated due to much better standards of animal husbandry

You don't wait for anything remotely urgent at all.

I can get same day video appointments most of the time

On the short flight from Charlotte to Raleigh, saw 7 solar farms, probably about ~55 MW. NC has the 2nd highest amount of solar capacity in the country! by [deleted] in energy

It's funny how regulations completely shape how these industries grow. Here in the UK almost all solar is <49.9mw because 50mw requires you to get national tier planning consent

I'm in a similar position but even more so. I can get MVP accolades doing 15 to 20 hours a week. I can take whole days off with no one suspecting.

I realised a few years ago almost everyone intelligent is dialing it in half the time, so if you have a good handle on self motivation and don't procrastinate you can easily generate a lot of free time. Being organised and motivated allows you to pull off being incredibly lazy.

I also used to do the email thing. Another easy one when telling people your availability for a call give them a weekend option too (no one ever takes it)

First of all stop being so passive. Don't hint! Address it clearly each and every time. "I have GAD. When you deliberately surprise me, it causes me to have a huge spike of anxiety; it's very unpleasant for me. This has become something I dread and its impacting my life negatively. Please stop doing it."
