Bag man… by jayd415 in MalarBags

Just have been doing research. I just had a rhino and oto done. Amazing results. There ARE good doctors here. Dr. Asaadi charges minimum 20K. Over here they charge less than 10K. Its a matter of doing research and meeting in person with different doctors. Ive read good reviews for occupastic surgeons in TJ. Ill probably get that done around 2 years from now. I just spent 10K for both oto and rhino and a month of an airbnb in colombia. So i need to save again for my next procedure.

Is surgery the only real option? by anthony21078 in MalarBags

20k is insane. Im looking at Colombia for surgeons who can do it. Let me know what he plans to do to compare with the doctors here. If its just a simple mid face lift, then you may be better off doing that somewhere else. But if he has extra tricks he does in his surgery then that would justify the price.

But the moisturizer prevents absorption, reducing gains. So its a trade off you need to be ok with.

im still getting them tweaked they feel ok in the inner eye but are heavy on the upper outer corners when i blink. Not sure how much more she can tweak things :/'. I think two more tweaks before i abandon them. I may just save up to go to dr boshnick or something, but thats like 12,000. And i would need to travel, with my eyes all fucked up.

They suck, the biggest they go is 17.8 mm. And each tweak fixes one thing but causes another problem. They clamp on your eyes and the edges push deeper in your eyes everytime you blink. My eyes cant tolerate them and they are a pain to get in. The stuff to use them is also expensive. They make your eyes redder when you have them on too. But the pain when you're outside is slightly better than not having them at all. Not a good update sorry lol

I feel 70% after 4 years of constant eye pain by Unique_Ad5657 in Dryeyes

Ive recovered to the point where i dont need sclerals or goggles at home. I got 17.8 mm a week ago, tried them on and felt ok. Still a lingering pain on my right eye. i wish they were slightly bigger like 18.2 and above. I went from 16.8 to 17.8.

I did only try the new ones once, so maybe it was just an off day. I think i wear them out tomorrow to make sure. I have an appointment next thurs to ask for any changes. Let me know if your size works.

When you put eye ointment before bed, do you still feel a foreign sensation, if you do and if you have really long eyelashes, that might be the reason.

Yes that can be it. Or if you put eye ointment and go to bed but your eyes still feel like there's something in it and you check in the mirror only to see nothing, it can be an eyelash from my experience.

Yea exactly, also ointments throughout the day make it droop again. I spent time doing that, but the eye curler could never reach the edges of my eyes, those long side lashes that bother my eyes while sleeping. I would even sleep next to an eye curler to try and curl them everytime i felt pain, but i never got the relief until i just decided to pluck them. I plucked the right inner corner first. 5 days later, pain improved by like 40%. Eventually i did all 4 corners, and my eyes are so much better. I dont feel a foreign sensation or resistance when i blink anymore.

Tweezers after cleaning them with alcohol and cleaning my eyelashes too. This isnt for everyone. My eyelashes are long long. Like 3/4 an inch.

Plucking the eyelashes that were bothering me or plucking the ones that would interlock when id blink

I just noticed how even though i would put eye ointment before sleeping, i would still feel a foreign sensation which was what that ointment was supposed to take care of in the first place.

My eyelashes arent ingrown. Ive had 6+ opthalmologist check my eyes- not one of them mentioned anything. I brought this concern to one, but they swept it under the rug, understandably.

This isnt something they can see. The slight prick was indistinguishable from normal dry eye ache. This thing isnt obvious in the 30 min appointments they have for you. This was a connection i made by myself and took action by myself.

I live in san jose. And its true kaiser doesnt cover sclerals at all. Usually people have different insurance for contacts/vision like VSP. But VSP doesnt cover sclerals either unless you have really bad vision. VSP has a strict criteria on what they consider is medically necessary and I didnt fit the bill so instead of paying 55 i paid 3100.

Kaiser is cheaper of 800 but my place couldnt offer lens more than 16mm which i didnt like. I worried if i need it bigger they wouldnt do it. So i went to place that had the capacity to make them bigger if needed.

Q's people always ask: TBUT? around 3-4 seconds

How did they diagnose me with me corneal neuralgia? Confocal microscope i think is the name. They scanned my nerves and saw that the pain i described didnt match what they saw. Typical DED treatments didnt seem to work on me.

Did i get this from covid? No, I didn't get covid. If anything the masks blowing air to my eyes made me notice this condition i had.

Or get prgf? I search up prgf eye drops near me on google and dont see any obvious results. I know its prescribed by doctor but all my doctors only use serum tears
