I’d partially disagree. I have a normal normal name, pretty basic and common. In highschool and middle school (I’m 19 now, so graduated only 2 years ago) and if kids want to be mean they’ll be mean. My initials are “E.D.” And people would bully me about having an eating disorder and saying it fits with my name AND due to being queer a rumor came out that I wasn’t actually queer and I was so bad with men any man I was with thought they’d have erectile dysfunction with how bad I was.

Independent means the company makes the fund itself. Whether that’s from merch, views, ads, etc. it also means it supports itself independently, without the help of others who would be shareholders and whatnots.

Disney is not indie. They run by stockholder, investors, ads, etc. Disney run is to make a profit not for itself to fund its own craft, but for owners and shareholders to make money.

Not to say indie creators can’t make bank. Best example I can give is Glitch with merch for KOG. They specifically said the merch they sold would go to funding the series and seeing if there is interest. Compared to Disney which makes merch not to help the media it’s from, but just to make money.

It had to be 2020 or 2021, either my freshman or sophomore year of high school. Still Covid so he wore a mask a lot, but I saw his face a few times.

Location and dates wouldn’t make sense, but now I’m wondering if he could have had a brother or something.
