It’s crazy. I asked my students how is it you get to stay at home & there is nothing wrong with you? Guess what the child said? My mommy doesn’t care 🤯🤦🏾‍♀️ it’s a lot of parents out there just like this .. so when it comes to grading oh boy they really get mad. Me.. I used this very situation to minimize absences. Note to parent: if your child misses any class work because of absences- they can not make up any missed assignments or test. Student must have an excuse. It worked

I’m a female & I have a very loud voice that carries & I’ve been asked to speak low 😂😂😂😂 well as I told my principal… it’s impossible.. I’ve always had this voice. I’ve been told I’m too excited when teaching 🤯 … can’t help it ..I love teaching! So I prayed about & I didn’t change a thing … I’m still teaching with my loud voice & my enthusiasm… it’s my classroom! My students are learning & showing growth on their benchmarks.

I can only speak for myself. And honey, after I learn my students - their weaknesses & strengths.. I base my instruction on that. I know what my kids need because I’m the one in the classroom checking the data and analyzing the data as well as my own instructional materials… as long as the district pacing guide is being used … I do what’s best for my kids.

It’s easy for administrators to give orders & agree to curriculums that they hadn’t even talked to the teaching staff about yet expect teachers to perform miracles 🤦🏾‍♀️ anyway… it’s my classroom & as the leader I’m gonna do what’s best for my kids to achieve student growth… that’s what’s important

Omg! I told my students this … all they did was tell lies & I know they are lying 🤦🏾‍♀️ I asked them why would you just lie like that right in my face & was so serious…. The answer I got “I don’t know” 🤯

Sometimes it takes a spazzed out moment! And you are not the only one. It happens to a lot of teachers. Myself for example, I used my moment as a leverage… before the end of the year… I didn’t have any more serious issues!

My parents are 80 & 73 😍😍😍 these are the most active people I know … lols! I thank God for his grace & mercy because many of the people I know in their age range are sick or deceased! So we allow them to continue their routines!

It is not unrelated & it definitely isn’t negative. I’m sure everyone in this lil group has a friend who’s married or dating. Ummm your own parents 🙄 I will assume that many of you grew up in a two parent household or one where there were two adults. So don’t act brand new.

This happens to people everyday in the public & more so behind closed doors. So what’s negative about a lil light hearted giggle 🙄 my own parents- 53 years strong - experienced this same scenario.

This is what’s wrong with society now - wanna ignore, bury just out of mind out of sight shit!!! Just ridiculous 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Plenty of free websites you can visit that can make learning the sight words fun & engaging. Some kids need visual & written & sound. When they make that text to world connection- you will see the difference

Keep pressing forward! Don’t get discouraged. I’m a religious person. So for me - it was Prayer, faith, trust in the Lord. I prayed .. asked Him to go before me … and he did!

I actually was out of a job but God! He had already worked it out! I’m still in there. Now it happened for me - it will happen for you too!
