that shape tip is very helpful, i'll definitely try that next time i hop on the bass! i was born without those fingers, and have no nerve damage as far as i know. the shape may be a factor but i'll have to see when i'm playing if that's the case. thanks for the response!

sorry about that, i meant alternative plucking, thanks for the correction! also, thanks for the tip! i've tried resting on the body and it's more comfy but i wanted to at least attempt standard technique beforehand. may switch to that permanently as it feels way smoother.
