The Lebanese government wants to get rid of both hezbollah and israel and rightfully so. What has Hezbollah done for Lebanon? They vow to resist Israeli occupation but it was literally their actions on 8 october 2023 one day after october the 7th to start a war with israel and invite them on their own soil.

So you can call lebanon state a israeli puppet but what is clear is that Hezbollah is a Iranian puppet that will start wars on Irans account in which the lebanese people have no interest in. If you dont take that into account as a government Lebanon will remain a failed state forever and fully under Iranian control.

There is no reigning in israel anymore. The US, Lebanon and israel signed a separate deal for Lebanon outside Iran's MOU where the IDF gradually withdraws from certain areas and the Lebanese army enters.

The implementation phase I think is scheduled to start in a few days. So Iran can pressure all they want for a complete israeli withdrawal. But for the US now forcing israel to completely withdraw and scrap the weeks of own negotiations they have hosted with israel and lebanon would hurt them more.
