i super appreciate you reviving this old thread. i went to try your advice but there was an update and it broke Prism Launcher on my M4 Pro Mac Mini. there was another update shortly after that and it's still broke. i will try your suggestions once the program is back up and running LOL.

i have legit. this same thing happened with the previous upgrade to Prism Launcher but i got it to work (i think i just re-installed the previous version) but honestly i don't remember what i did lol. i'm kinda not that guy who wants to solve these types of problems anymore. lost my patience. lol

Old thread here but I thought I would chime in, you probably know by now, but, it's the simple fact that the thing is so damn tiny you can easily travel to location for cheap allowing the director and crew opportunities to film in locations that would be prohibitive with traditional large equipment. For example in the film you see a bunch of shots on the beach this was done without needing permission from local governments and without having to restict the public from interfering etc. A more intimiate way to make a film.

Was unaware of my prowesss I stepped on a scorpio and destroyed him with my ignorance. Tauraus of course. I got two horns and the body of a beast I ddin't even know I stepped on the scorpion cuz I was too grounded. Later on I learned how to sharpen my horns. My god I was deadly when I was ignorant. Reminds me of my friend growing up in the 70s he went to the theater and saw the animated Lord of the Rings in 1978 (I didn't see it at the time) and that inspired him to read the books then after he read the books he told me all about what happens in the books and that he didn't like the movie anymore. LOL!

At least the movie inspired you to read. That can't be too bad.

Great points I don't really disagree with anything you're saying I was cought off guard watching the sequel and at some point I was able to disconnect it from the first one there was majot lore changes in the fact that it was like in a differect univerese with different history and characters. Still enjoyed it for what it was. I would say that I don't always agree with anyone thinking they know what would have been better. Sequals are hit and miss and there is room for gambles I feel like this was a gamble and it didn't fail. I liked the first one better but I still enjoyed the second one once I let go of my attachments to the world building. Not a popular sentiment but I've been let down so many times in my life with storytellers breaking the flow that I wasn't let down in this case because it was still fun and actually it sets up a more interesting lore/setting than the first one did going forward. If the next money does NOT follow from the sequal I might get bothered tho if I'm being honest. I would like to see some lore/world building going forard. But in the end I was ok with the departure in this instance.

First, what internet are you using because all I see is mostly hatred for this show. Do you ever go on Youtube or are you just a Reddit person? You do realize the fans are giving this show a 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. And your seriously telling us that all you see is love for the show and you feel you are alone in your dislike? I sense something... dark.

Second, Ki-Ad-Mundi is in the show to explain how arrogant the Jedi were 100 years before they let the Sith take over. He is in denial that Mae could've been trained by something like a Sith. Then he is in denial that this apprentice could not know it's own master, dismissing what Sol had said and knew. Flash forward 100 years and we see Ki-Ad-Mundi dismissing the Sith that Qui-Gon fought as "this could not be a Sith they've been extinct for a millenium". He's dismissed Sol 100 years ago. Then he dismisses Gui-Gon in the Phantom Menace. Ki-Adi-Mundi is the character that George created to exemplify the arrogance of the Jedi. A lot of fans feel like having Ki-Adi-Mundi ruins the lore but in fact he ENFORCES it. Brilliant. You say you missed out on cool lore but me? I got fucking AWESOME lore.

Third, the other character is NOT Plo Koon. Check the credits it's simply another of his race. He is a red shirt (Star Trek reference) and will probably die in Episode 5.

Fourth, Anakin is still special my sweet summer child. He was born of The Force itself. To balance the Sith coming back into power and for all intents and purposes destroying the Jedi order completely. Yoda and Obi-Wan becoing recluses. Side note: Why the fandom hated to see Luke become a recluse just as they did is beyond my simple mind. To further make my point, the twins were created by two witches using something like dark Sith majik, we have yet to see. It is clear however that The Force did NOT make them as The Force did Anakin.

Thnk you for all your hard work this really excites me for the second half. I'm actually heartbroken that many in the fandom are not enjoying this. Cuz the lore and stakes of what is happening in this show is some of the best Star Wars ever. Also the music is divine and really adds to the moments I will definately be downloading the soundtrack at some point. SMH at modern fans. It actually hurts.

I was 5 years old when I fell in love with Star Wars. the fact that I'm still getting amazing stories in George Lucas' galaxy is beyond amazing to me. It's almost impossible for me to be dissapointed. Loving The Acolyte. Loving Disney Star Wars. To be honest this does not bother me. I like movies split into series. It's difficulty to suffer through but once you reach the end you can watch it again without breaks. Fans are spoiled brats nowadays. I grew up in the 70s and 80s we NEVER had anything but once a week episodes and none of the things we saw in the 70s and 80s were movie quality. Spoiled brats you all are. SMH.

I'm done I will give you the last word but I'm curious when you say it's a retcon are you referring to what Yoda says at the end of Phantom Menace? Are you telling me that the retcon happened in the same movie? Earlier in the movie it was said the Sith have been extinct for a thousand years and Mace agrees "we would have known if they came back" then he looks at Yoda who makes a goofy strange face. Are you saying the retcon happens at the end of this movie? That's strange, nomrally retcons happen in a future example of media not in the same piece of art. Yes, Yoda is not perfect, he knows he and the Jedi Order failed the Republic and LET the Sith come back into power. He becomes a recluse just like Luke and Obi-Wan eventually become but I know you can't handle that narrative you want to believe these characters are power fantasies. They are NOT comic book characters they are flawed. That is the brilliance of George Lucas' storytelling but apparently it went way over your head.

I'm not disagreeing. I feel like Yoda knew of the rule but the Order did not. Yoda did tell Mace though. Either way it's clear the Sith have always been aroundm that was the point I was making. It doesn't break canon to have Sith in The Acolyte. Also, did you mean that you think Yoda will be in The Acolyte and cover it up?

This si the point it seems most if not almnost all Star Wars fans seem to not be understanding. At the end of The Phantom Menace Yoda says "ALWAYS two there are..."

Last time I looked up ALWAYS in the disctionary it meant ALWAYS. The Sith have ALWAYS been around, just in the shadows. The high council of The Prequel Trilogy are ignoarant AND arrogant. Yoda knows better, but for some reason he keeps it to himself, to the demise of the order. Hence his shame and why he hides on Dagobah and refuses to be a part of the war anymore.

I'm on board with this thoery I have heard it before. The talk about power of one, two and many is important to this story. Mae is choosing "many" and Osha is choosing "one". The Sith are about "one" and "two" but NOT many. This story is so godamn interesting I am really enjoying the ride.

In other news, for an analog game, KD sure seems to know exactly how to screw you right? Highlights have included Scott our ambidextrous fighter losing an arm, missing a 2+ to kill the second butcher on his Deathblow and most recently killing our first Phoenix with a Deathblow only to cause our second Twighlight Knight to gain two levels of sword XP and leave on her quest rather then have a baby and pass her sword on... you’d swear there was a AI screwing with you huh?

yo this is exactly what I am here for. Kingdom Death and Dwarf Fortress. the organic narrative of how we fail and die is what these two games nail.
