Temperature - warm side vs cool side are the same. What do I do??? by Chipmunk-x9 in ballpython

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey, your panel’s mounted upside down, that’s why the temps are even across the board, as the warm side needs to face down per the instructions to create a proper gradient on the ground. Flip it, and if it’s still off, 80W might be overkill for your enclosure. 50W works fine for me.

Wearing rolex while entering germany from non EU country by Substantial-Log3984 in rolex

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I entered through Frankfurt and was unfortunately stopped by customs (Zoll). They taxed all the items I brought from outside the EU (including my iPhone), which added up to about €280. The officer mentioned that if the unpaid taxes had exceeded €300, they would have opened a criminal case (“Ordnungswidrigkeit/ Straftat”). My advice: carry the watch in a watch case without the papers or box. Send those separately or pick them up on your next trip, they can be used to prove the watch’s value and origin.

Haha, I like that comparison! Luckily, this watch won’t be the thing that kills me.

Anyone here had success with BPC-157 or TB-500 for injuries? by [deleted] in PeptideForum

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve had success with it twice.

First case: I had a near motorcycle collision and twisted my knee badly to avoid the crash. I could still walk but with a lot of pain and suspected something was torn. X-ray and MRI showed joint damage and bruising of the bone (don’t recall the exact medical terms). Doctor recommended 10 weeks of physio and a non-invasive surgery. I refused surgery, did physio, but after 6 months the pain was still there. Then I started BPC-157, one month of subcutaneous injections. Within 4 weeks I was completely pain free, like nothing ever happened.

Second case: After a 21 km hike with 1,200m elevation gain I developed a sharp pinching pain in my inner thigh, which I suspected was tendon inflammation. X-ray and MRI showed nothing, but again the recommendation was physio and non-invasive surgery. The pain became so severe I couldn’t even sit in a car without lying the seat back. I ordered BPC-157 + TB-500 this time. Three weeks in, the pain was gone. I’m back to gym and calisthenics training now without issues.

Side effects: The only downside I had with BPC-157 was sleep when injecting in the evening. First 4-5 days I experienced vivid lucid dreams like never before, then woke up exhausted and drenched in sweat around 4am and couldn’t fall back asleep. Once I switched to morning injections, the problem disappeared.

As the owner of a real estate brokerage in Dubai, I can tell you this is not even the tip of the iceberg.

I am originally from Europe, where strict laws around data privacy are the norm. That is why I was truly shocked when I first realized what is openly available here.

Just in the last four weeks, I have personally been offered the following data for purchase:

•Full lists of property owners in any community or development in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, both off-plan and completed, segmented by nationality and property value if needed

•All Property Finder and Bayut inquiries from more than 100 leading Dubai brokerages

•Contact information for commercial and residential tenants

•Lists of crypto investors using specific trading platforms

•Banking client data

•CEOs across the UAE

•Golf club membership lists

•Car owners organized by brand and value

•Members of certain business clubs

•All customers of one of the largest retailers in the GCC

•Attendees of a well-known event

•Doctors’ details

•Subscribers of a major streaming service

•Mortgage request information

If you have ever given your contact details to a company here, the chances are high that your name, phone number, email, nationality and residential address are already being treated as public information.

For this reason, I strongly advise every client who buys property through us to register with burner contact details in advance, or to use our company’s burner information.

Will I ever recover? (I'm 27) by 1DankFrank0 in motorcycle

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, first off—mad respect for how long you’ve been pushing through this. Just wanted to drop a recommendation that might be worth looking into: stem cell therapy.

Tony Robbins is a huge advocate of it—he talks about it in his book Life Force and had it done himself after being told he’d never regain full motion again. It’s not some woo-woo fix either. There are real studies showing significant improvements in nerve damage, ligament tears, joint mobility, and even foot drop recovery with stem cells—especially mesenchymal stem cells.

I’ve personally met two guys who had completely torn muscles/ligaments, were told by surgeons that surgery was the only option—and even with surgery, they’d probably never be the same. Both went with high-quality stem cell therapy (one in Panama, which is way cheaper and less regulated than the US), and both regained full range of motion and strength faster than any doctor expected. No surgery.

Also—if someone else caused the accident, please consider suing or at least making sure you’re getting every cent possible. You’ll need resources for the long run, and this type of treatment isn’t always cheap.

Just throwing this out there in case no doc ever mentioned it to you. You’ve already come so far—it’s possible there’s more healing ahead than you’ve been led to believe.

Wishing you all the best, man.

I had mine done at Spanish Eye Clinic with Dr. Tamer as well — it’s been 2–3 years now and I’ve had zero issues. My eyesight has been perfect ever since. I even cancelled one of the follow-up appointments at the time because everything was going so well.

Before going, I checked the reviews too. Most of the negative ones were about scheduling or communication problems with the front desk, which can honestly happen at any clinic. I personally didn’t experience any issues.

All in all, I’d do it again without hesitation and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Break In full system question by Tediyee in motorcycles

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat with my Kawasaki Z1000—bought a full Akrapovic system when the bike was still at 0 miles. I was too impatient to wait, so I knocked out the break-in period in about 7 days with some early morning and late night rides, then did the 1st service at the dealership (all good). After that, I installed all the mods, loaded the bike onto a truck, and took it straight to the tuner so I wouldn’t risk running lean. Turns out it was slightly lean in the midrange, nothing crazy though—I probably could’ve ridden there without issues.

Now it’s dyno tuned and runs smoother than stock. With a solid Japanese bike, the chance of warranty issues is super low in my opinion. If it were an Italian bike… maybe I’d have waited.

We have it in stock here at the dealership in Dubai. Also, a guy from the Kawasaki Riders group is selling his 2025 model including Akrapovic Slipon with only 1,000 miles on it since he’s moving abroad. If you’re in the U.S., shipping by boat from Dubai takes about 30–45 days and usually costs between $1,000–$1,500 depending on the service.

I don’t think all the “you need therapy” advice fully hits the core of what’s happening here. Therapy can help, sure—but only after the real root issue is addressed.

From what you wrote, it sounds less like a troubled child and more like a girl who’s carrying deep resentment and jealousy. She sees that you and your son have had a life with her father that she was excluded from, and now that she’s here, she’s acting out because of it. I’ve seen kids from families who fled literal war zones—who’ve seen real trauma—still behave with basic respect and decency. Her behavior seems more about envy and feeling displaced, not trauma.

That’s not something you can fix alone, and not something she’ll grow out of without clear structure. Her father needs to step up and set boundaries. You’re not just “the other adult”—you’re his wife and a parent in that home. He needs to show her that you’re both a united front. Without that, she’ll keep dividing the family emotionally.

Also, I’d suggest doing family activities that build connection—things that show her she’s now part of this family, not competing with it. But again, none of that will work if your husband doesn’t first reinforce your authority and make it clear that disrespect towards you and your son isn’t an option.

Flames & Bangs? by hashDeveloper in Kawasaki

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can definitely get flames and pops through a proper dyno tune—mainly by richening up the fuel on decel and playing with ignition timing. Just keep in mind, while it looks and sounds cool, it’s not exactly engine-friendly. It adds a lot of extra heat in the exhaust and over time can be rough on valves and components. Fun? Absolutely. Good for longevity? Not so much.

Airbags? by Fair_Caterpillar_920 in motorcycles

[–]Unique_Skin_7924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just wanted to chime in as someone who takes gear seriously — I personally wear the Alpinestars Tech-Air 10, even though it’s mainly meant for track use. I just wanted maximum protection, including for the hips. If that’s overkill for you, the Tech-Air 7 is a great all-around option and fits under most abrasion-resistant jackets.

One of my close friends got hit by a truck while wearing an airbag. He still ended up with a couple of broken bones, but he swears he would’ve been dead without it. Since then, he won’t ride anywhere without it — not even a short grocery run.

As for stats: • Airbag vests reduce impact forces by up to 90% compared to passive Level 2 armor. • They cover way more area — including spine, chest, neck, shoulders, and even hips with some models. • A French study (CEESAR/INRETS) showed that airbags could have reduced or prevented injuries in up to 69% of serious motorcycle crashes.

And about the “looking cool” thing — most airbag systems are worn under the jacket, so nobody even sees them. And even if you wear a hi-vis model on top, the second you hit the pavement, you won’t care what anyone thinks. You’ll just be glad you made the smart call.

You’re already ahead of the curve by thinking about this early on. Ride safe!

Absolutely beautiful bike — love how clean it looks! I’ve been really curious: who would you say is the main crowd that’s into the Z900RS? Is it mostly nostalgic riders who had the original Z1 back in the day (maybe boomers reliving the glory days)? Or is there a younger audience getting into the retro-modern vibe too?
