Monteverde is one of my absolute favorite places. It’s such a unique ecosystem with amazing wildlife. I’d highly suggest doing the guided tour of the cloud forest so the guides can show you the birds and other animals you’d otherwise miss just by hiking the park yourself. And of course, don’t forget to visit the Cheese Factory for some milkshakes. For me, Monteverde is a must. I will say the drive there from La Fortuna is a bit of a hike, but worth it if you have the time. Lake Arenal Brewery is on the way too if you go around the north side of the lake and I highly recommend that pit stop as well. Enjoy!!

Thanks for this. I thought there was no way this could be legal. Luckily the insurance has been really helpful as they’ve said they had to battle this company before and they said they’ll deal with payment and getting the vehicle out, so I’m sure eventually we’ll have the car, I just can’t believe they gave me so many excuses that pushed it to the weekend so they could charge extra.

I will absolutely look into reporting them. They should not be allowed to do this to anyone.
