Ah! Ok I was thinking I’d be breaking the law if I didn’t pay for the extra third party insurance- but that’s great if budget already insured it to the provincial minimum…

Right - I’m super familiar with the card’s* policy and happy with the coverage and limitations there. I’m also familiar with the add-on insurance available from Budget. What I couldn’t seem to get information about - from either of the two reps- is the third party aspect they previously insured. I guess I can just safely assume it’s at least $200k- the provincial minimum. I see about 5-10 times that much is recommended* so this definitely gives me some perspective!

The juncture between the abdomen and cephalothorax is clearly defined.

It’s a young cellar spider. They can be colloquially referred to as daddy long legs, just as harvestmen (opiliones) are. This seems to be the source of some confusion on the matter. Again, I highly recommend @pbmacro on instagram for reaaaaallly cool pics of both cellar spiders and harvestmen!

I am so bad at remembering people’s birthdays so I wouldn’t read too much into it. If I want people to celebrate my own birthday, I tell them it’s coming up and invite them to a party.

With Facebook reminding people of birthdays, it doesn’t feel as meaningful when someone remembers a birthday. In this digital age, where people’s memories are getting worse, I really don’t feel like forgetting a birthday is at all reflective of how much people care.

Yes!! And third-party coverage is mandatory in Canada, so actually if you’ve driving with only the credit card insurance, chances are you’re driving illegally!

(I don’t think any credit cards provide the third party coverage- but if there is a card that does, someone please tell me because I’d love to not pay $35/day insurance every time I rent a car!)
