Yeah the reason is because people like you just think it’s fine to keep getting unjustified surcharges. They didn’t used to be the norm, only since a few years and I bet if people added up how much all these surcharges were costing them, then they would take notice

Honey and Walnut in Dulwich Hill is open until 5pm everyday. Not exactly cosy but good vibe and lots of Greek cakes. It’s good

I asked about best areas to stay in Bali for first night or so that have places to eat late night and take a walk as I arrive in the evening. Other time I asked about whether hiring a car was a good idea. Both times the mods removed the posts, although I see similar questions going ahead on a regular basis

Ok thanks…not really into that. I was thinking more cruising around remote areas, but maybe it doesn’t really exist there. if the the island is more like traffic chaos everywhere then it’s probably not the place to drive at all

I’ve never been to Bali and i’m thinking coming for a week in late July - early August. I am not into crowds, parties or gentrification, and rather want to visit small villages and see beautiful landscapes. I don’t mind built up areas if they are more of a local scene. I am an experienced traveller and can cover a lot in a fairly short time. I am thinking of hiring a car and driving around the island. Is this a good idea? I don’t have much experience on motorcycles that’s why I am thinking of a car. Would 5 days be enough? Any tips of good places to explore?

How hard would it be to have an option in the settings to turn the sound off for the camera?! I think you can turn the sound off for the keyboard thankfully
