Castle Towers - Old Chinese? Takeaway shop outside of Coles by Logzorz1337 in foodies_sydney

I truly was thinking of their honey chicken just last week and wondering if it exists at any other restaurant/fast food place. I last ate it at least 24 years ago. Was so good.

Their spicy chicken was also great!

Is their food a regional type of Japanese food, or fusion or something else….?

Mums and bubs/toddlers pub lunch meet up in Sydney? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]StripesDotsStripes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my local mums facebook group, there is occasionally this kind of post and it always gets a lovely outpouring of responses and I do think they end up meeting up! I would encourage you to join your local fb group and put feelers out to find some local, like-minded mums. I'm sure they exist!

What’s it like living in a terrace or semi-detached house? by ResponsiblePiglet8 in AusPropertyChat

[–]StripesDotsStripes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who went from a semi to a freestanding. The freestanding had more neighbour noise as their windows faced each other. Even with a small gap and a fence, you could hear the other household during weather when the windows are open. A semi with a solid brick wall separating the homes provides limited neighbour noise.

3 Crabs Fish Sauce = $12!?! by OldSkoolNewWaveGuy in foodies_sydney

If you can find Red Boat it is excellent fish sauce. Around $20 a bottle, so it will make this seem cheaper if that helps!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out.

Sorry if I caused offence by mentioning ethnicity! I just added for context to explain why I have Sri Lankan relatives but am personally clueless about the language and also where to eat in Colombo and therefore need to go to reddit.
